Re: Replaced my 2014 Overland Dash Speaker

Just replaced my center speaker on the 2014 Overland with no issues! Only thing I did was cut the wires from the original speaker and attach each wire to the positive and negative prongs on the Polk speaker. Definitely a difference in sound. I am now getting an itch for the door speakers. How easy are they to remove? I dont trust anybody else to handle the job as the doors are wrapped with leather, etc. and worry someone will scuff or damage the door. I am also nervous about possible rattling afterwards which is exactly why I haven't tinted the windows. Anybody replace these yet?

Re: Replaced my 2014 Overland Dash Speaker

Just a heads up if you want to use the Fountek FR89EX, you will need metal cutters/shears and a lot of patience. Although the sound is good, if you dont have the tools or installer experience, I'd find another brand that you dont have to customize the bracket. What could have been a 15 min job took 90.
