RES+RSC to RER Swap

I have a 2012 JGC with the somewhat base radio that has uconnect and sirius.. I would like to swap with for a nav unit.

What problems would I encounter by making this swap? Would it be "plug n play"?

This is the radio I want to swap it with:

Thanks for anyones help!!

The stock 2011 radios have a combined GPS/Sirius antennae. The RER has a separate GPS and Sirius antennae. You will have to buy another antennae to get both Sirius and GPS in the RER. Also, the Ucconnect in the stock radios are external while it is built into the RER radio that you are looking to buy. You will have to bypass the external uconnect box in order for your mic and also your iPod to work with the RER. There were a couple of posts a few months back that laid out how to do this with the RHR and what was required to make it work. Search for "RHR install" and that might get you the articles.
