Rhb radio 430n without sat radio??

Hello fellow members of the JG Forum... i am going to try to explain my self on this question...
We bought a WK2 Jeep Limited 5.7L just last month, we live in State of Coahuila (just south of the border with US) our "export" model (since it was made in DETROIT!!) has all the same features of a Limited Model from the US market ...ok that being said...
our Jeep has the 430N with NAVI and the problem here is that i don't have a SAT TAB or option in the menus (neither a hard key or a touchscreen option) can this be FIXED by updating software or i am actually missing HARDWARE (i.e. SAT ANTENNA, XM/SIRIUS MODULE) ??
Or may this be a 430N radio made for Export WITHOUT THE SAT OPTION
I have a delphi XM radio that use in my other truck and car, but wanted to have an "integrated" option on the Jeep so i didn't have to use a car kit and FM transmitter so i can listen to SAT RADIO ...

Hope i made my self clear and if anyone has any insight on my "situation" PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

by the way OUR JEEP wK2 IS AWESOME ... so far only 2500 kms (about 1700 mi) and loving it!

Re: Rhb radio 430n without sat radio??

Well, If I were you I would discuss it with my dealer. However, somewhere in the back of my mind I am getting the feeling that standard Garmin is programmed only with continental USA and maybe Canada.

He's asking about Sirius radio, not Garmin navigation.

Does the radio's bezel have "Sirius" printed on it somewhere? I'm guessing no and that Sirius and Chrysler don't have a deal for satellite radio in Mexico. My guess is that you could get the SAT tab by installing U.S. software, although you'd have to use it with English. What version software does the radio report that it has?

Re: Rhb radio 430n without sat radio??

the 430N / RHB are only for the Nord America Market not for export , and have sure sirius built in

you need the new combo antenna for gps/sirius

If you are intresting i have one new RHB unit with the diffrent faceplate for WK2.

The map coverage area includes the 48 contiguous United States, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, the Bahamas including ,U.S Virgin Islands, and St. Barthelme; Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Jamaica

Yeh. My point, though poorly made, was that the export 430N lacks some features of USA model. Sorry.
