Thanks, sox.

This is good to know:

NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with Keyless Go (sales code GX4), apply parking
brake and shift vehicle into neutral. Key on engine off, this will prevent the
ignition from timing out.

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

At the moment, the WK2 site appears to be suffering some problems, so I am unable to view full details of the TSB.
In any event, I sure hope this TSB will finally fix the issue of Routing, where the current software will not recognise "unverified" roads and in some cases route you 100's of Miles out of your way.

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

This update appears to only apply to the RHR radio so I presume it is NA only database? The description seems to relate more to map inaccuracies so maybe it does not apply to others.

I notice in my RHP the database is 4.2.1 so maybe there will be an update later???? Meanwhile we continue to wait for action on the "unverified roads" issue which you would think would be easy ..... give us an option to use them in the program.

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

Has anyone had the TSB applied to their car yet? Also, would the TSB update the maps to be in synch with the latest 2013 version that is currently available? My build date was 12/23/11 so I was not elgiible for the free upgrade but my DB version is 4.2.1 and am planning to use this TSB.

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

At the dealer right now and they say I'm up to date?
The tech says a lightning bolt shows where I need a flash update and none showed up
Thoughts?

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

Before I get to excited is this basically a free map update for all of us on 4.2.1?

I would respectfully point out that if your radio is still showing 4.2.1 that the TSB states that this should be updated to 4.3.1.

Maybe the tech was confused with your application version being 2.126?

I don't know about "lightning bolts", but the version numbers are clearly stated in the system when you access the appropriate screen...

Re: ***RHR Navigation Map Enhancements***

Sorry to see that your dealer did not update your nav DB and I think that "unimatrixzer0" may be right in that once they saw that you had the latest software level, they thought you were good and stopped at that point.

According to the TSB, they have to ensure that the latest software level (2.126) is installed first before updating the nav DB.

I will schedule an appointment with my dealership but will not get to it for a few weeks. Hopefully, I will have better results.
