Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

i have an s5 found similar probs to above but not only with the car i think its more a bluetooth issue in the phone. sometimes turning the phone on and off makes a difference.

FYI - Just picked up my 15 Summit on Friday and I have not had any issues with the S5 (AT&T) thus far. Software version is 14.32.3, so that may be the difference from those that are experiencing issues.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

My S5 is on Verizon and as previously stated I was having these issues with my '12 JGC. Saturday morning there was an update to the phone itself from Verizon that was to address Bluetooth audio issues. I updated, removed all pairings, re-paired the phone and was able to make calls without issue. Have not done full testing yet, but it may be addressed on my end with this update from Verizon.

I have an S5 paired with my 14 GC, no problems what so ever. Everything works as it did when I had my iphone 5

Same here. Both mine and my wife's S5 works 100%. I think I'm on Uconnect 14.05.03 firmware.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

Has anyone had any luck on the uconnect and Galaxy S5 problem with the phone disconnecting after 2 rings. I received the Verizon bluetooth update as well, but the problem is still there.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

Did you delete the original pairing and then re-pair. Mine didn't work until I did this following the Verizon update. So far no more issues.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

I have paired and unpaired the phone numerous times now and still no improvement. Does anyone know if it's a Samsung issue or a Uconnect issue?

Hi gang, I too was having issues with my just purchased Samsung Galaxy S5 and my Uconnect system. I tried some of the posted suggestions using just the Bluetooth feature with no success. Have you tried making sure that the Auto feature under the Quick Settings Buttons has been enabled? Not until I did this, and followed the onscreen instructions did my system work. All seems to working just fine now. Hope this works for you.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

Mike2426...Lucky you...I looked for this Auto feature button under the Quick Settings but don't see it. Is it under Quick Settings or under Quick Settings>Bluetooth? In either case, I don't see it on my phone. Had a long conversation with Uconnect and they don't have an answer to these problems and do not know when an update will be available to resolve it! By the way...it shouldn't be an issue with 2014/15s...it is a supported device under under those years.

On the Samsung S5 in the very upper right hand corner hit the quick connect icon. This shoud give a drop down menu. On the bottom row of the menu you should see either Auto, or Car mode. Once you tap it you should be prompted to follow the on screen pairing instructions. At least this is what presented itself to me when I activated it. Hope this works, and good luck.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Connection Problem

I have tried car mode it unfortunately it doesn't help. Unable to initiate calls from the car and if done on the phone I have no BT at all. Have removed car mode.
