The radio is is now reliable and I am comfortable knowing it is going to work each time I get in the vehicle, though still looking forward to new apps at some point.

I'm running 13.19.0 and I still get same song multiple times on the sd card but no other issues.

Re: SD Card weirdness

I have nothing intelligent to add in terms of a solution to the problems listed in the first post. But I can confirm his sanity, because everything he mentioned is something I experience with my radio. I had my unit replaced in August, card worked great for some 3 weeks and then every few days it would stop working for days on end. And then work again on its own. The dealership is considering replacement Once again. Prior to having the unit replaced, I reflashed twice, to 13.15 then later 13.19. Each uconnect flash brought use and purpose to my SD card only to eventually quit working. I've sven had entire folders showing multiple copies of each song, something that could not be proven when reading the contents on a PC.

Stupid early buyer.

I'm using a 32gb micro SD card in an adapter ... I'm wondering if this is the problem ... even though the adapters seem to work fine everywhere else.

I'm going for a long trip, so instead of messing around I dumped some of my music onto a 'real' USB stick so I'll evaluate the performance with that.

Then I intend to buy a stnadard size 32gb SD card and see how that behaves.

Is anyone reading this using a micro SD card with adapter in MY14 GC ?

Update: I used a 4 Gb USB stick, with 4Gb worth of the media from the original SD card, this seemed to work problem free for a couple of weeks, with no "duplicate" songs being listed.

I then purchased a brand new Sandisk 32gb SD card, and copied all the media from the original 32gb micro SD card.
Already I have one song that is getting shown 6 times (when it is only there once!)

As long as the problem doesn't get any worse and duplicate any more songs in the playlists I'll be able to live with it, but if the SD card starts to become unreadable again I'll be little annoyed, using a SD card shouldn't cause these problems.
