SD Folder Structure and Art file size?

What is the optimal folder structure for the 2015 Grand Cherokee SD card (or does it matter)?
I have mine set up as:
\artist \album \Track Title

Also I found that the artwork images need to be below about 500k to display on the screen, what is the largest files size that will display?
Thanks

Well I don't use separate folders for my music. I just ensure that all of the ID3 Tag info is present & correct (Artist, album, genre, etc.). And all of my music displays correctly (including album art) on my WK2 display screen. I use Media Monkey to add/edit all ID3 Tag info along with the album artwork. All files (MP3) are on the main directory of my SD Card.

Ok, I use separate directories for each artist so the "folders" selection on the jeep display effectively just shows artist. I assume your way without storing songs in separate folders shows all songs for the jeep "folders" selection mode (artist, album, genre are the same as my method). I also use Mediamonkey.

Pretty much.

I find this way the easiest. It also allows me to play all of my songs by either genre, artist, or album. I can also shuffle thru all of my music.

So if I'm in the mode for Jazz... simple selection. Or if I want to listen to all of my songs from Craig David... same deal. The WK2 (along with most music players) can read ID3 tags and organize music accordingly.
