Show off your subs!

Soon I will be starting a new audio overhaul in my limited. My plan is to fiberglass an enclosure for an audio frog 12" sub using the rear quarter panel trim as an enclosure.

Let's see what everyone else has done to add some low end to their ride.

Awesome man. I'll be adding a helix dsp pro in mine so I'll be referencing your thread for advise and tips.

Though, I have a newborn so retaining the cargo space is a must for me.

I hear you on the space. I actually want to redo my system to add rear fill and a custom fiberglass enclosure for 1 12" Carbon C12 XL.

Have you installed a Helix DSP before? I need to switch my DSP for more channels, and I love Audison's DSP's especially the Bit One. I have installed 3 of them so far over the last few years and not had a single problem with any one of them.

Nice! The c12xl was on top my list as well but I got a deal I couldn't refuse in the AF sub so figured I'd try it out.

I had the helix in my RAM, which was totalled about 2 months ago. Actually is the only piece of gear I kept from that install. Loves it too much to let it go.

Here's the install from that truck. Wasn't 100% complete. Don't mind the wires

Having 2 12's and no real fill is not a great listening experience for the rear seat passengers. Thats only reason I want to add it now.

All I need is just this one ten. Its a kicker L7 powered by a Polk audio pa1000.1d mono block amp. I'm also running a pioneer deck. Kicker ks speakers all around and a 400watt 4 channel kicker CX amp runs them

Thanks! If you care to check it out, I have a detailed build log here...

http://diymobileaudio.com/forum/buil...ted-build.html

But the box is sealed, about 1.3cuft. I removed the spare and built it in the well. I believe it's about 8" tall. Just tall enough to where the load floor will still fit in place.

Then I cut 2 layers. One that fits in the well and another the exact same shape as the removable load floor.

Was a little plain without the cut outs

Rounded edges and sandwiched plexiglass in between

Then wrapped it with carpet and ostrich leather, wired up the LED strips and that's it...
