During a recent trip down the East Coast on I-95, I experienced no Sirius Traffic Coverage in my WK2 from South Carolina through Georgia, even though our mobile phones showed traffic coverage on various apps. When I researched this on the Sirius website, I was surprised to find the attached map that confirms learn that Sirius Traffic has no coverage on I-95 in SC or GA. Sirius-ly ?
That doesn't seem right. I just drove from NY to GA a few weeks ago for the holidays and I'm sure that I had traffic coverage the entire way. I was using the factory nav and waze at the same time and I compared traffic info from both.
It didn't seem right to me either, but when I saw the Sirius website's coverage map at SiriusXM Traffic Market Coverage - SiriusXM Radio it confirmed the "dead zone" for both Traffic Incident Coverage and for Color Coded Speed Flow Coverage on I-95 in SC and GA.
