I have that feature on my plug and play sirrius radio in my work truck and it's great. Love the fact that you can pause something get out to run in to the store and come back resume and never miss a beat. I really wish the 730N had this feature.

Hopefully the v2.4 later this month will help although i think this update is mainly for the ip4 issues.

And, going under a small two lane brigde should not cause the SAT to drop, going through a tunnel or when filling up at a gas station will/could.

Also, my radio control button on my steering wheel (middle button, left side, back of wheel) doesn't advance through the presets as it should, it just goes up in numerical order. I even demonstrated the problem to my delaership, they are looking into it. Anyone else experience this?
The update is supposed to help with the "acquiring channels" glitch too.

Sometimes you can lose sat signal from fairly insubstantial overhead cover; it just depends on what the sat coverage is at the time. Sometimes I lose it just going over a bridge (one with the overhead steel framework). Sometimes I don't (same bridges, even!).

Yes, I get the same deal with the steering wheel button. Sometimes it works fine. Sometimes the center nub acts like I'm just hitting "channel up." I don't know if it's something in the switch or the head unit programming; I haven't had the dealer look at it yet.

I had my dealer look at this and they "couldn't reproduce it", of course. The up and down buttons above and below the "nub" do advance the stations numerically, so I'm thinking the nub must be somehow overlapping one of them and doing the same thing. But you're right, sometimes it works perfectly so I don't know.

Well, like I said I was able to reproduce it for my dealer and they ordered a new switch which should be in at theend of the week. I'll let everyone know how it turns out next week after it is installed.

I hope the new update fixes both problems. Using a phone while driving is illegal in MD and I am not trying to get a ticket.

Re: Sirius Radio dropping Station

I noticed this in the GC WK2 that I test drove which had the 730N. It was dropping the stations/losing signal constantly while I was driving. I have never seen a Sat Radio antenna with such poor reception.
