Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Has anyone in Canada recieved the update CD or verified that their subscription has been extended?

Some people mentioned that the service was extended prior to installing the update but mine is still set to expire a year after date of purchase of the Jeep.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

FYI. I burned a CD and updated my software to add the travel link. I'm now in a wrestling match with Chrysler to get them to extend my Sirius subscription. My Vin isn't covered by the Notification K40 which came out Friday. It doesn't make sense because my Jeep was produced on October 29, 2010, which is within the period covered by the Notification. I will let everyone know how it plays out but if I were you I would start calling Chrysler en masse. Maybe if we overwhelm them they will come to their senses. I'll let everyone know how it plays out.

Having the same issue, let me know if you are able to get anywhere. Thanks!

SixZeroFour does travel link work in Vancouver, I'm still waiting to here back from Sirus to tell me if canada has this option. I installed the update with the iso file from the thread. Have not received anything in the mail yet. As per travel link it does not show up in my screen.

I'm having the same problem. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with Sirius and they have basically sent me back to the dealer to resolve it. All the other features work, Travel Link menu options are available, the subscription status shows activated, but no data on any of the travel link items.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Anybody know what the data source is for the gas prices? I know gas prices are even more of a moving target than usual lately but the 7 or 8 gas stations I drove by on my way home today varied in price by 3 cents to 10 cents from what was on Travel Link.

I'm guessing its tapping into some kind of user-updated app like GasBuddy?

Yesterday, all my gas prices were correct, after rounding up the 9/10. Today, it was the same as you with prices varying +/- 3 cents.

I don't believe it does but was hoping we might get the service extension anyways. Wishful thinking I suppose...
