Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Just received my cd today NDA from Chrysler. Only took a week to get. I noticed the blind spot monitoring said disabled during the install. Did anyone else notice this. I haven't drove the car yet so I don;t know if it works or not.

Yes, I recall mine flashing a couple of times during the update. No ill effects blind spot still works.

They were folded out. I test drove it and it seems to work fine.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

It's been a month now and I still haven't gotten anywhere with the 1 year extension. Chrysler customer service tells me if your vehicle was included, you would have received a letter in the mail. Worst of all, they tell me they can't access the service bulletin which lists the vehicles included in the extension. I am going to talk to the dealer and see what I can do. If I can't get the extension, it's not a huge deal but the fact that the customer service is bad bothers me.

Anyone else had any luck?

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

So I finally got some information from the dealer. Even though travel link is listed on the build sheet, it was not on my window sticker therefore I am not eligible for the 1 year extension. The travel link had to be specifically mentioned on the window sticker. Oh well, not a big deal and I'm probably not going to keep the service anyway once the trial is up. Now why couldn't customer service just tell me that.

That's what I found out also. The only part of Travel Link I use is the fuel price part and I can do that on my phone when my subscription is up.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Interesting... Today I just received a CD in the mail from Sirius. It is an update to the RHB radio to enable Travel Link. It appeared to be the same CD that I received from Jeep a couple of months back. Sure enough. Same part number, identical instructions, etc. I guess that both Jeep and Sirius wanted to make sure we had the update. So... if you get a CD in the mail from Sirius, double check the part numbers to make sure you don't waste time trying to install an update that you've probably already installed.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

I received the disk last week and updated my 430N (RHB) on Friday. I parked in the driveway, followed the instructions on the disk. It went just as described, except faster. The Travel Link button appears on the screen after you press the Menu hard button on the right side of the screen. It will take you to another menu with buttons for Weather Forcast, Ski, etc. The Sports button will grey out above 5 mph (good idea!). It took the Fuel Prices button a couple of hours to synch with Sirius, but all is good now.
