Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Also received my CD today and immediately performed update while driving. Updated exactly as advertised, BUT....there is absolutely no nav picture at all....just black screen. Travel link menu items are there but there is no map picture. Always had an unobstructed view to sky during entire update. Turned vehicle on and off and drove it around the block to see if that would remedy the situation but no luck.
Anybody else run into this?

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Received my update CD from Jeep today. Followed all instructions and travel link works but now my NAV screen is missing buttons (back, menu, etc...) and the compass/speed limit display on the screen is messed up. All the updates said they installed successfully but now I am left with a nav that is useless....Any of this sound familar to anyone?

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

IMO, try the disk a second time. Some of the "waits" appear that nothing is happening and the unit is off, but that is not the case. It will come back as the instructions say. Incidentally, either the update itself or the automatic reboot straightened out the problem I had of wrong album art often with what was playing. I'm also now seeing album art I never even saw prior.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Anybody need a disc that has not received one? I did my update from the ISO image file a while back and just received the disk in the mail this week.

Figured someone out there is still waiting on Jeep......

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Okay, my nav screen finally decided to come back up yesterday and everything is working as advertised. The Travel Link features kick butt! Just headed now to pick up my ride at the dealer from it's service appt. Had the TSB performed that relates to the pre-April builds on Hemi's that had A/C issues and throttle issues. Can't wait to see how it works out.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

I received the CD today, however, my Jeep already had the new software installed from factory. If anyone is interested in the CD, please PM me.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

So the 430N had to be r2. At least while it was in at the dealership for a week they replaced a leaking unit on the rack and pinion as well as updated all the TSBs. Notice the AC appears to be working better now.

Try while parked in your driveway.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Hi I am new to this thread. Picked up my GC a few weeks ago with Travel Link. I can get weather and gas stations but I need traffic. I was hoping it would work with the Garmin to show me slow areas. I have gotten a notice on my phone a couple of times of something in the car trying to access my maps.

How do you tell what software version you have? Does anyone know about maps acess to my phone?

The 430N doesn't do Sirius traffic. Only the 730N has that feature.

It won't do that, but it will use the MAP Bluetooth protocol to interact with your phone's text messages.
