Just my observation.
I don't know what the differences are between Sirius Travel Link and Sirius Traffic are, but according to Jeeps website, Sirius Traffic is supposted to be standard on all overland's.

I for one, can't seem to see that I have Sirius Traffic AT ALL!!!

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Serious Travel Link is called out specifically in the owners manual for the 430N Media Center, pages 115 - 117. I expect it on my new 430N to be delivered in the next few days and if it isn't then I will be opening a STAR case with Jeep. I know it's being worked on based on the responses here but information garnered on an Internet Forum has no weight with Jeep, the only thing that will cause them to take action is a formal complaint via the dealer or directly.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

My 430n calls up sports scores and whatnot when my teams are on. Is this travel link working or just the radio itself?

My 430n rocks sports scores too (fav team setup for pros and NCAA) but I get none of the other advertised features of TravelLink. Here's a link to the SiriusXM site that describes the service:

The ChryCo dealer network must hate life when JG dudes show up in their doorways.

I learned the lesson years ago to NEVER tell a dealer service adviser/manager "I read it on the Internet". That was a sure fire way to get them to ignore anything else that came out of your mouth. LOL

My observation is that some of these dealers should get on the internet more often. They might learn something about their products.

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

As far as Sirius is concerned we have Travel Link ! Go to Sirius, set up an account with your esn. and you will see this:

Account Notification

Your trial subscription is scheduled to end on 1/4/2012. Take action now so that you won't miss a minute of programming.
Radio ID (ESN or SID) Package End Date 03875885**** SIRIUS Everything + SIRIUS Travel Link (1 Year Plan) 1/4/2012

So, it's as simple as enabling the subscription and none of the dealers or the 800-number know that? That's hilarious
