Re: Sirius XM update

I had no problem with Voice Activation prior to the update. Now my 430N does not recognize my voice trying to change the stations. This radio is really getting on my nerves. Build date 12-10-10 and no CD for Travel Link and Jeep said they weren't sending me one. No Sirius extension either. Yes, my presets DID change over. I just couldn't acquire them with Voice as I could before the update.

Re: Sirius XM update

Checked again this morning. No presets were saved!

Not a big deal I guess, as it'll only take me a couple minutes to find and save them again. Just saying'

I think part of the problem might have been that yesterday when my wife turned on the radio and it said something about "Satellite Update", she started playing with everything, pushing buttons trying to find her stations, and I think she probably should have just left it alone for a couple minutes and let it do it's thing. Perhaps playing with everything messed up the preset saving part of the update?

No idea, but I think you're on the right track with blaming the wife. Make sure you tell her that, I can't see how it could possibly go wrong.

Re: Sirius XM update

I did notice the photo I had saved to display on the screen, had also defaulted to the stock "JEEP" logo. Again, certainly no big deal.

Re: Sirius XM update

Is there an easy way to re-boot this unit, without having to resort to disconnecting the battery?

Re: Sirius XM update

I have an aftermarket XM receiver in my Jeep and I didn't have to change any presets. I love the unit LOL, it's been in 3 cars, and even wasn't installed for a period of time and never had to be programmed since I 1st got it. Also the factory radio in my wife's accord didn't have to be reprogrammed.

Thanks again, seems to have corrected my problems.
