Huge difference in sound quality, clarity, control. The Alpine headunit blows away anything Jeep offered on the 2011-13 GCs.

Wow changing the front and rear door speakers did that? That's a pretty simple fix along with changing the head unit. Hard work pays off big time, did the new speakers plug right into the Chrysler harnesses

I ran new wires and installed an aftermarket amp. So, essentially, I replaced everything.

Re: Spring A/V upgrade project

I found the stock speakers to be of very cheap quality. Also, they are only 23W RMS, while the speakers I put in are 110W RMS. Just changing the speakers alone would be a huge improvement I'm sure.

What speakers did you use for the 4 doors and did they hook up easily with the jeep harness?

What sized front and rear speakers did you remove from your jeep? Do you know if the 2014s use the same size speakers?
