SRS/Seatbelt light on after amp install
I recently installed an amp under the drivers seat (in the cubby hole). I ran the power wire from the battery under the pass seat under the center console and the ground to the body on the driver side. I tapped into the 12volt wire that feeds the outlet under the flip up cover in the dash. I used a PAC SNI-35 line out converter that feeds off of the rear two channels behind the radio. Everything works but I keep getting a random SRS service message with a driver side seat belt light the last 4 days. The light is always off in the morning and will come back at a random time sometime later. I stopped at the dealership this morning and the guy came out to look at the codes and said that there were some history codes for communication and radio and some active codes also. I don't know what the codes where though. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on what it could be? This is on a 2014 JGC Laredo with the base 6 speaker system and still under the 36/36 warranty period.
