In my SQ build, I was looking at speakers for my final selections from Morel Hifi, Dls Audio and even raw drivers. I selected the HAT's because of the off-axis ability. Many of the raw drivers are from manufactures that produce them for big name companies.

I am hoping by in the next two weeks to publish all the details and pictures in a new thread. A few more things to finish and I am almost tuned.

Best for now.
I will await with interest. You are obviously using much higher end gear than I but some of the installation techniques ( such as tweeters) I would be interested in applying.

I would love to use some of that gear but the wife would kill me :-)

Greetings,

I know the feeling, that is why it took me 2 1/2 years to get this going. Picked up pieces during the wait.

Best for now and happy holidays

I never saw an update on the 10 w6. Were you happy with it? Or do you wish you went with a 12 and a new box

Re: Starting my build

After watching those episodes of Amplified where they equipped the SRT8 with Audison gear, I noticed they used just a mid range for the rear doors. It has me thinking, should I just try and source a Polk MM mid range for my rear doors as opposed to the MM651 coax. Would this be more suitable or is it simply a cost decision?
