Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Is anyone else having an issue with the left hand steering wheel audio control center button not responding to presses?

There is no change when I push the button to go to the next preset station most of the time. I have to push it at an angle to get it to register. It happens in any mode and I do have presets programmed.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

No probs here, Jeepeej. I use that button all the time to advance preset stations and to advance to the next playlist when in Media>HDD mode.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Mine gets picky sometimes...I'll hit it a few times and nothing happens but then it works fine. Thanks for the link Rage...I'll have to check my build date.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Mine would not cycle through the presets. The dealer replaced it and it works fine now. Mine was built after 7/11 though.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

I have the same problem, build date in mid-July but I didn't purchase until November and it was though a DX. I had my Dealership replace the switch in mid-Jan (took weeks to get the part in) and I still have the problem. Very annoying.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Mine gets screwy sometime as well. Mine always works but it just moves to the next station versus going to the next preset. I have to really press mine in for the preset function.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Mine works but I never use it. I think they should have made that button advance the channel number and the up/down buttons advance the presets. I hate not being able to go backward thru the presets, you have to go thru all 3 pages to get back to the start.

Re: Steering Wheel Audio Control Issue

Mine was a mid-Sept. build. Sometimes, instead of cycling through the presets, the center nub on that switch would advance the channel number.

The dealer replaced the switch, it works great now.
