SXM presets and favorites lost

Today, my SiriusXM radio station presets and favorites were gone. I have not touched my vehicle for four days since I last drove it. I know this is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but it is still aggravating. Any chance it is related to SiriusXM changing the channel lineup? Or, maybe my battery level got low being in the heat for four days.

A 1995 ZJ with Sirius XM?!?!

Presuming you have a newer vehicle but haven't updated your profile...

No, channel lineup changes should never reset your presets, skips, etc.

4 days doesn't seem like long enough to run a battery down to where it would reset your radio unless you have some odd power off drain on it. Have left mine for a couple weeks in hot apt pkg lots with no ill issues.

I would think you'd have noticed other items being reset if battery were the cause.

Re: SXM presets and favorites lost

under some conditions the latest software update would blow away those settigns- did you update the software?

Also- if you have the setting checked for 'use keyfob to remember settigns' (sorry forget what it is called) then using a different keyfob then you normally do will change to the second fob's presets (which may be blank if you never set them on that key).

Toggle the driver 1/2 buttons and see if that gets you back to your original presets.

Mine did the exact same thing when I got in the car around 2pm today. This morning they were all there. I waited about 10 minutes to see if they would restore and ended up arriving at my destination. 30 minutes later when I got back in the car they were all back.

I immediately began setting the preset stations and set a couple favorite songs. Maybe I didn't allow it time to fix itself.

BTW, thanks for the ideas from the other folks. I am using the same key fob and don't have different driver settings.

Re: SXM presets and favorites lost

All of my favorite songs/artists stopped displaying after the dealership updated the Uconnect to patch for that hacking bug or whatever nonsense. All the artist/songs are still "starred" on the display, but they do not display in the top left where they normally would to alert you they are on. Very annoying. Reset all of them but still no dice.

Re: SXM presets and favorites lost

I updated the uconnect to 15.26.1 five weeks ago: no problems. The only rather different event is that the fuel low indicator came on about the same time the SXM info went away. I really don't think that they are related. (BTW, fuel level is really low- 656 miles on this tank.)
