Tap Stock Amp for New Alpine 5 channel amp

So I need some help, been searching all the threads. I want to tap the stock factory amp to reduce the amount of RCA line/speaker line. I know its on the left rear quarter panel, but does anyone have any more info on it?

Has anyone successfully tap the factory amp?

Also, I purchased speaker to rca cable (Rockford Fosgate), however I noticed some people are using an LOC. I'm powering infinity speakers and the JL stealthbox. Any thoughts? Will the speaker to RCA cables suffice?

Thanks!

You will need a LOC if your amp does not have that feature built in.

You'll want to get some sort of summing module to help give you a signal that's as close to full range as possible.

Audio Control makes a bunch of summing devices (glorified line out converters) which will probably work fine.
