Re: The Harman Kardon Rocks

Satellite radios sound isn't comparable to much but what most folks like is the variety of what's being broadcast and a low price to do that.

Re: The Harman Kardon Rocks

I gave up on satellite radio, but the HD FM is pretty good and as I said, it rocks off my iTunes playlists.

Only found 1 HD FM station in Vancouver.

Re: The Harman Kardon Rocks

XM / HD is just plain odd..I'm positive at this point it's the antenna / receiver that makes or breaks it.
In 2 vehicles same commute checked a few times and is consistent
F150 - HD sounds great / XM bad
WK2 - HD bad / XM sounds great

I don't understand all the complaints. All I listen to (90% of the time) is EDM on SXM, and it sounds great...even cranked up to 35! I love the HK system, regardless of the source.

That's fine if you have a huge data plan since using any of those apps guzzles up your data plan and also helps if you get cell service all the time. Plenty of mountains around here and cell service isn't always available. But the XM signal works.

I agree! I listen to SXM 90% of the time and have no issues with the sound quality. Does a nice quality MP3 sound better? Probably, but I'm not entering an audio competition everytime I drive to work lol.

Re: The Harman Kardon Rocks

I had it in my '14 SRT. I was also impressed. Sounded awesome...I have limited that doesn't have the 19 speaker system but I think it sounds awesome too.

Both are great systems for a factory stereo

Exactly. The ability to be able to switch to different types of music just to kill the drab of the drive to work.

Throw in a USB or SD (results may vary ) to get the true sound that its capable of.
