Re: The new 730n RHR ready for order yet?

Just spoke to my dealer. He can see the RHR on the system today and it is a $465.00 option.

I'll be at the dealer tomorrow with my deposit.

BTW, I told him that it was available when I dropped by the dealership this morning and after a few hours he called back and complimented my "source" for knowing it was available. We all know who that is, thanks Milous!

c2me, to be clear, the RHR was an option on the Overland, and not standard?

What time did you talk to them at? I spoke to the sales manager at my dealership earlier this morning around 9:30-10am central and he did not see anything about a new 730N as of then. I'll call back and see if he can check again it may have been put into the system after I talked to them this morning. I will report back.

This morning my guy said the same thing. Couldn't order. I just emailed him again.

Re: The new 730n RHR ready for order yet?

I'll find out more tomorrow, the conversation was over the phone and brief.

I first went to the dealer in the morning to drop off some paperwork from my last deal (Charger for my son) and I asked the sales manager if he had any RHR news. His reply was a grinning "soon".

Later this morning I received a call from my sales rep and he tried to sell me a 430n equipped Overland that had arrived. Since this rep is filling in for my original rep (out for surgery), he wasn't aware of my requirement for RHR. At that point I told him about the RHR info I heard here and he said he'd check on it and get back to me.

Later in the afternoon, just before my last post, he called back and said he could now see the RHR in the order entry system. I was VERY specific that this was RHR as opposed to RER and he indicated yes. He even knew about other buyers getting the RER recently vs. the 430N the buyers thought they were getting so he seemed pretty well informed on this situation.

He did state that the RHR was " a $465.00 option" but I was still at work and wasn't able to spend more time with him to get further detail.

I'll let everyone know what I find out tomorrow but don't expect to get to the dealer until evening.

My fingers are crossed!!!

Absolutely!! I just got off the phone with my sales manager. He had to cancel my first order since he wasnt able to modify it at this point and he had to make a new order for me. I guess its not a big deal as I was only a week into my other order and wasnt even assigned a VIN yet. So from what I read absolutely get the new radio the one thing that sold me is it has the better non-garmin mapping. Even though im sure the 430N is good, I cant stand garmin's cartoon looking nav mapping. The 730 has much better details.

I started a new thread specifically on the new 730N and saddle availability if you want to post up in there to.

Its official Saddle interior and new 730N RHR now available!!!

That's a strong endorsement for sure.....the RHR is what I had originally thought I wanted but then people were saying the Garmin nav was good. I shall change my order to the RHR ASAP now.

One question, I ordered a Summit and the order didn't get into the system until about a week ago (some time in the first of the year) due to the holidays. Will Jeep automatically change it to the RHR on my Summit order since it was supposed to be standard???

Milous,

If we have already ordered a summit, will we have to change the order to include the 730n RHR or will it automatically be done since the summit is supposed to come standard with it? My order was placed on 12/10/10 and still have not been assigned a VIN.

Thanks!
