Travel Links - Canada?

I just picked up a 2012 GC Overland last week with the 730RHR nav unit. I don't have a soft key for Sirius Traffic or Travel Links, and wondering if these will appear when I'm travelling in the US?

I spoke to Sirius Canada this morning and they suggested that we are about 2-3 months away from having the Travel Links available in Canada.

Anyone else have information on this?

I'm almost certain traveling in the States will mean nothing to your options. Like the saying goes, you get what you pay for and since you haven't subscribed to anything south of the border, you won't get anything new.

Following up on your last part, I too was giving the same approximate timeline for Travel Links in Canada. I'm curious if there will be any sort of free period. I understand that U.S. users who didn't have Travel Links functionality on their hardware were allowed to extend their free 12-month trial so as to get 12 free months of Travel Links. I have never ever seen a qualifier from Jeep/Chrysler stating that Canadian customers didn't get the same benefit. When it does become available I am definitely going to push Jeep to extend my trial period so I get a full 12 free months of Travel Links.
