TVandNAV2Go not working

I installed TVandNAV2go, and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I still can't see video when out of park, and I can't input into the nav while moving. I put dip switches 1-4 down, and 5 up. I used the grey cable that also goes into the back of the module. I did not use the white cable that lets you add more video inputs since that doesn't go to the module, and I'm not adding other video sources. Anyone else do something different?

Thanks,
Rick

Re: TVandNAV2Go not working

was your negative terminal unhooked during installation? did you reset the module after changing the switches? if you are not using the extra cable isnt there supposed to be two switches down? give them a call, they have great phone support.

Re: TVandNAV2Go not working

FIXED!
Even though it was after hours, they answered their email right away. Turns out the instruction manual is wrong. For 2011, 2nd dip switch needs to be up, not down. So they are 1 - down, 2 - up, 3 - down, 4 - down, 5 - up.

This is for 430N RHB.

Re: TVandNAV2Go not working

I did the same thing, the instructions say if there is a nav button switch 3 should be down. I think it meant a nav button on the side of the radio and not the nav button on screen.

Are you happy with your decision? I have read the various threads and being a NYCer I thought I would patronize the locals. Other than the 0 MPH on the Nav. screen, does everything work as its supposed to?

Re: TVandNAV2Go not working

I ordered one of these a few weeks ago. Got a great price but it still has not arrived. I ordered it before the Jeep...
I hear it works very well with the 430N.

It works great for me and does everything I need it to. All the units will say 0 mph on the nav screen.
