uhhh.... I never know. This one is goofy for me. If you can put something on it out of the box just do that. I went on a stick bonanza for a couple of dealerships and we just cracked em open put the software on em and Jammed them in some RAMs, all went well. As Chrysler doesn't recommend a particular file system I don't know what to say.

It won't start the upgrade without being able to read the drive.

New USB also did the same thing. Any other suggestions?

I had the same issue and found that it was a problem with the file name. Since I had already downloaded past updates, it renamed this new one with a (1) in the name. I removed the (1) and it worked just fine. Make sure your file name is correct.

Not to get off topic, but are you saying the vented seats have a fan that sucks air from the seat to the floor or from the floor to the seat? I thought it would blow air up from the floor (cooler air) to the seat holes to the person. If it sucks from the top down then if a person is covering all of the holes it won't work (which might explain why the back area doesn't work very well).

They all work this way. Cadillac, everybody... There may be some exceptions. The problem is the air is not directly cooled so blowing it at something with a seal (your butt) wouldn't give you much "ventilation". what it is doing is creating a bit of negative pressure (hence the delay from on to feel). The idea is to take moist warm air away from the site and thus give more an inductive cooling affect.

It works better than you think. Original designs from years ago blew at the customer but the varied temperatures meant that it wasn't very comfortable. Similar to it is refreshing to have the AC vent blow right on you for a few minutes but it is was focused on your wrist for more than a couple of minutes it would not feel good at all.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I went to grab lunch and noticed it as well the vented seat would turn itself to Low instead of Hi. When I got back in the car on my way back, the SD card was playing but none of the controls would work. I couldn't adjust the volume or the song but could go to the radio and change stations. The steering wheel controls for the radio weren't working either. Mine was showing Yelp for the apps. Hopefully it calms back down and works like normal until tuesday.

Going to need to do a feature request... UConnect confirms with the customer that it is going to do some updates and the system may be unresponsive for some time.

I think that is what this is? bill_de had some issues like this and it cleared up pretty quickly after. I think when it is doing some of these updates, if it looses signal it hangs then goes again. Totally a theory but based on what I have seen of the Registered systems this seems to happen ocationally.

As for the Seats, it is possible the high Ambient temperature improvement has also introduced a indicator problem or a seat control issue... I hate to say it but sometime the "improvement" can have a slightly adverse result. Luckily this one is not MAJOR.

That is why I'm not totally concerned as of yet about it, I had some freakouts just after the last update as well. If things keep happening I'll mention it to the dealership and see what they say. 95% of the time it is working as asked.

You know what the aren't saying in the instructions and maybe needs to be there... Do the update with at least 2 bars of signal and make sure to run the vehicle for at least XX Minutes after the update is complete, so the app refresh can complete.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I haven't done the latest update yet. Today my SiriusXM had all new presets. I only had 3 presets, now all buttons are set, but my three stations aren't among them. This is a first for me.

Yesterday I posted in another thread that my oil change minder reset itself around 700 miles ago.

My turn by turn in cluster continues to shut off every few days.

I'm debating with myself about the new update. Do I live with the gremlins I have, or invite some new ones in?

Thanks for the education. I do like it but the back area doesn't work well and doesn't go all the way up the seat. Now if we could get a cooled steering wheel.
