I did a 6 month stint on the Desk for a dealer (training as a Service Manager, never happened). It is a very difficult job... I met happier people doing an AV installation at a funeral home!. I think Service advisor can be the worst job in the world... at a crappy dealer.

Yeah I don't know what happened both of the ones taking care of me are gone was wondering why I didn't get a call back this time because they seemed to be good at their job. Now the service manager is taking care of me I'm screwed now lol

If you have a good relationship with your salesperson ( to be politically correct ) they can be your best advocate. In my case my salesperson is the CEO's grandson and the President's son of the dealership owner so I don't have to many issues. I am one of their most valued customers so I get treated with respect. The CEO has on more than one occasion offered me a sales position.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

For those who may be interested, my problem with the delay in being able to use the voice command button apparently magically disappeared today. Started the vehicle and pushed the button as I pulled out of the garage and it worked immediately. This is the first time that happened since the middle of July. It worked properly all day long.

Now, we'll see if it lasts.

Looks like I have a July 1st build if I interpret the date code correctly so I would say this is a new radio not a refurb. Either the presets are stored elsewhere or the tech actually went through and wrote them down prior to replacing the radio as they were back to what I had set them to. The only thing I had to do was pair my iPhone 5 back which took all of thirty seconds. Taking a day trip down and back to TN tomorrow so will update when I can. No wifi or signal for ATT or Sprint where I am going!

I think you got a good tech because they can save all your setting to usb before they remove old radio and then restore them.

As you can see my HD is working fine. Strange how the version did not show in the first photo. Showing now. Just went back over the paperwork. They were able to pull two codes for the radio: U0147-00 and U0110-00. On a side note they also were able to flash the TCM for the tranny as well,

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I am going Monday to get my radio replaced.
I firmly believe the recent rash of problems that people are experiencing with their 13.19.0 revision is due to recent over the air updates. I was happy with my unit especially during my 4000 mile vacation.

is this procedure ? Reason I ask is I had my radio replaced last week and they did not restore any of my settings.

I noticed that right before I realized the new radio they had just installed, had a crack running across the LCD screen...... turned around and had them put my old radio back in.

Needless to say I'm getting another radio installed this week and I'd like all my settings to be saved . Thanks
