The phone when making calls through BT has the same volume levels as the Sirrius Radio. The media BT was set at 38 which was max but the radio plays at about half that volume. Possibly since the USB cable was charging the phone at the time I need to see if there is a differance between volume when charging and volume on battery. Anybody else tried this? Having USB power applied will not affect your bluetooth volume.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Just called UConnect Customer Service to put in a suggestion to not block access to the UConnect Mobile App when phone is in motion since I commute on the train and I'm in motion when I want to remote start my car.

In any case, while on the phone I asked if they were still on target for the Via Mobile apps for early September and was told that once again the dates have been pushed back and they don't have any time frame right now to communicate.

Here I was hoping that after a few months of owning the vehicle, they would have added some additional apps to the stated original four, however we are still at ground zero.... ugghhh!

Thanks for the update. It sounds like they have diverted all their programming resources to just fixing all the basic functionality issues that owners have been experiencing.

Have you tried turning off location services for that app? I know you can do this with an iPhone. Not sure how the app is detecting movement. It's seams like a dumb choice from the uconnect programmers. It's not like you would try to remote start your car while driving your car.

I use an Android and I did try that this morning and it worked - so thankfully I do have a workaround. Just a pain to have to shut it down to access the app - but at least it is usable! I agree - dumb choice. I can see that the Via Mobile button may need to be limited while driving, but I can't see any of the other buttons being used when the vehicle is moving! They took the easy way out.

Someone with some skills could probably write a module for the xposed framework pretty easily that would remedy this. Would have to be rooted to use it though.

You should be able to turn off location services app specific. But you probably knew that.

You know - I did think that and hoped that, but I couldn't seem to figure out how to do that. I went into manage apps and selected that app but it doesn't appear to let me control that feature. I'm using a Motorola Droid 4 with Android Version 4.1.2. I could have sworn that capability existed for apps in a prior version. If you have any clues to help me out - that would be fantastic!

This site seems much more active about RA4 updates, than the Ram site. Does anyone have a shared link for the 13.28.0 firmware? I've seen it referenced a few times, but now download links.

I think I remember Willx stating earlier that 13.28 will not available. Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think there is a newer version that is being developed that will be released and available for existing units. I was under the impression that the 13.28 update was ONLY used in currently produced vehicles at the factory until the even newer version was ready for release.

Yes my patience is wearing thin, no disrespect to the people here that is doing everything they can to give us a heads up. My frustration is targeted squarely at Chrysler. It's been months now and my jeep does not operate the way it should as stated in the manual I also have other problems that should not exist also.
By the time this remote start AC fiasco is fixed it will be winter and I don't know how I would tell if it's working properly or not also the outside temperature fix should have been addressed a long time ago. I am still waiting....

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Yesterday I had my radio reboot 1 time and then this morning it rebooted 2 times, the 1st time it had no presets but then rebooted and came back to normal..I just keep thinking it is funny at the randomness it is doing it.
