I don't remember what the warning is but in 13.19.0 it should work. So in GPS you have this option turned on and it does not do anything?

Exactly, I thought it was because I'm in Canada, but speed limit is showing on the nav screen... Should be working... I even switch the language from French to English to see if it was the problem... No warning.
Only thing I didn't try is switching units to MPH... I'll try it this afternoon.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Just came back from the dealer to get the tranny and HVAC flashes done (both worked great!), and they insisted on processing RRT-056 which is the 13.19.0 radio update. I told them it was already done, but I guess they have to do it at the dealership anyway since it is a RRT. Too bad they didn't have the new one out yet.

Picking up another JGC 2014 on Monday for my wife. The build date was sometime in August, so I'm hoping that one has 13.31.6.

I'm hoping 13.31.6 fixes the SD Card issues. I've finally correlated another bug with the SD Card. If I shut the vehicle down when playing the SD Card, most times (I think always), it loses the playlist that is playing and starts playing the first song (alphabetically) on the SD Card. This happens whether the SD Card is locked or not. However, if I switch to the Radio before shutting the vehicle off, when I re-start the vehicle, switch to Media using the EVIC, defaults to USB, have to switch to SD Card - but then it remembers the playlist it was on. Very strange behavior....

I don't have any problem with my SD card. I shut down playing a playlist and when I start up the vehicle I get a short message that saids to insert the SD media card (the SD card is inserted and i don't do anything) and then in a few seconds it starts playing the playlist where it left off.

Thanks for the info. I'm wondering if perhaps it's where I have the playlist located on my SD Card. The way I have my SD Card is in the root directory I have a folder called Music and then I also have my two playlists in the root. In the Music folder I then have all folders for the artists (copied from iTunes).

Where do you have your playlist(s) stored in relation to your music on the SD Card?

I have my SD card setup as

Root
Playlists (folder with playlists in folder)
Artist Name (folder)
Album Name (folder with songs)
Album Name
Etc
Artist
Album
Etc

I did have to edit my playlist that I exported from iTunes using a text editor to point to the songs in the Artist/Album folders.

Excellent - thank you! I'll change my folder structure to the same way you have it and hopefully that will do the trick! Yes - I had to edit my playlist in a text editor as well. Really appreciate your help!

The option is in the NAV Settings. When set, it will give you a voice announcement of "The speed limit is xx" when you exceed the number of mph over the limit that you set. I would like to set 6, but it always defaults to 5 over whenever I shut the engine off. I figure that is a "feature," but lately, it's been turning the entire option off periodically.

they reloaded 13.19.0 even though it was loaded? lol sounds like someone was getting an easy payment... there is no need for them to re-do that. It even states in the instructions that the it can be done by the dealer or the owner.

I did it myself, they never re-loaded it.

Static,

Some dealers have problems reading.... we covered this in an earlier chapter

If they were smart, the didn't reload it, they just billed the warranty.
