Jerry - this folder structure did the trick. The radio is remembering the playlist perfectly now - thanks so much!!!

Curious - how did you know to put the playlists in a folder called playlists? Is that kind of a standard practice? This was my first attempt at adding a playlist to a USB/SD Card and I didn't know where to put it. When the radio found it and appeared to work - I figured I was okay with how I handled it. However, clearly that wasn't the case!

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Not sure why, I think I saw it that way on some other posting. I did initially have the playlist in the root folder and had problems so that is when I moved them to a playlists folder.

Anyway, I am really happy that it is working for you

Agreed. I guess my quotes around "trouble free" were misinterpreted. No car is trouble free. Truth be told, amongst the new cars I've purchased, only a Nissan Altima SE-R was troublefree in the 3 years I owned it. I will have a serious concerns about going back into a 2014 JGC if they should offer to give me my $ back or give me a new vehicle. Too many safety concerns at this point. When you can't trust a car, you shouldn't drive.

I have not replaced my radio but I suspect that's one thing they will do this week. I upgraded to 13.19.0 which resolved some issues temporarily and created more. After the upgrade, I lost my ability to reply/forward texts. I also lost my easy entry exit feature. The mirrors stopped folding and unfolding sporadically as well but I think that's more electrical. Then of course all the old pre-13.19.0 issues came back. Settings not retaining, changing, disappearing, etc.

I can't reply to everyone who wanted to point out that other manufacturers suck. I chose to reply to this because I agree with your statement.

I said, "trouble free" with quotes around it because I know other manufacturers have issues. Out of 4 news cars I've purchased, only 1 was decent. That's a 75% failure rate. What you said in response is DEAD on. How they resolve those issues is more important. I've played this game with Chevy and BMW in the past: "We can't reproduce the problem." These dealers know we don't have the time they do. I can't keep dropping it off and renting cars week after week. At least with BMW I had a courtesy car.

If Chrysler starts playing this game as well, that will say a lot. If they step up right away and reimburse me for the rental, I'll jump on board the Chrysler train. I haven't even asked for reimbursement of my time yet but you can bet if this goes to arbitration I will.

Thanks for the update... there is another software update that is to be released soon. I tested 13.31.2 in a test bed and they have cleared up some problems.... there is an update for comfort settings in HVAC that include remote start improvements (ask your dealer to check this if you have any HVAC concerns). I would tell you to reinstall the update but your dealer is likely to return with a new version and the newer version anyway. If not they will have reinstalled 13.19.0 which can correct some of the regression problems.

What's with the Uconnect mobile app today on the iPhone (4s)? Whenever I try to use any of the commands the app closes. What a waste of an app. Anyone else dealing with this?

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I do not have this problem. There is an update for the app, try updating it. Also, if you have done that already, I would try deleting the app and re-installing it. This has happened to me once before and deleting/re-installing resolved the problem - No problems since then.

I installed the update last week. I even tried deleting/reinstalling. Same thing. I'll try later.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Looking for input from any iPhone 5 users. I'm currently using a Motorola Droid 4 and plan on moving to an iPhone 5s when it comes out on Friday. I've seen various comments about problems with the iPhone on UConnect.

My Droid 4 basically works great with the UConnect. Volume is perfect when making/receiving calls. Bluetooth connectivity no problems with address book, music, etc. The voice based texting works great (until 13.19.0 when we all lost the ability to reply via voice). I'm still receiving texts, being notified of them via UConnect and it still plays them fine.

I don't want to go backwards with any of the functionality. Are most people with an iPhone 5 working fine in regards to UConnect?
