Willx can confirm, but I am under the impression, yes. I downloaded there and here and the version is the same

The version identified on the UConnect site, is the same as the one on the premium section. The files are the exact same to be downloaded (extracted) to a USB. It will place swdl.iso on the stick for upgrade.

To the other fellows note, RJ4 is International and gets 13.39.51 instead. There is no real differences in the fixes other than the RJ files contain some international fixes and the appropriate regional languages.

These are things that I am going to post in greater detail in the free and everyone forum just so everyone understands the differences. Just in Snofire mode right now trying to respond to all the questions but I will get some very in depth stickies posted all about the radio technology where we can discuss these things with all members.

By the way it's crazy that uconnect forces you to use exploited IE to receive the update,is Firefox not good enough for them?

The file from UConnect and our mirror is a self extracting exe. When opened you simply tell it to place it on the USB. The USB MUST be blank and MUST be 1 gig minimum and 32 Gig maximum formatted in FAT32. There have been people who have used a 512meg stick but this is a very bad idea, the unit needs to do transactional writes to the drive during the update and places the log file on the stick upon completion. The update can recover from all kinds of failures but the USB stick filing up during the processes will cause a failure I have not seen yet, so I wouldn't play with that.

The update is designed to be almost foolproof, with the exception of 2 things. You need to follow the instructions and you need to be patient. I did read someone tried to install the date while DRIVING home, of course the update did not go well. He did manage to successfully install I believe once he did follow the directions.

In post 1 of this thread I documented some of the anomalies. The air card update in this one takes up to 30% longer than prior update though, so again be patient.

Still by far the best update path and frequency of any vehicle manufacturer PERIOD!

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Updated tonight, went well.. few observations/statements

I used a brand new clean USB drive 32gb

I used my Mac through the Uconnnect site and the site worked well.

It downloaded a .zip to my USB which i manually extracted to the drive and left the original zip onboard.

I followed the directions on the uconnect site (attached). I suggest you follow them as well.

At the end, the normal screen came on and XM started to play... looked ok and i was tempted to start messing around but i waited and the query screen popped up asking if i wante to update again. as per the directions, i said no and pulled the USB....

I had no errors and took a 1 hr round trip with no issues...

New improvements:
text message reply/compose with VR and presets works now with my Droid razr M
3G symbol is colored green
you can now shut off the auto dimming mirror on the settings screen
O/w seems like 13.19

Thanks Willx and Milous for your help... dont mind those that bitch... you guys are doing good things for all of us.

I wanted to say Fire Fighting mode, in response to the new radios.... But I thought a Snofire fire fighter would somehow be more effective

On That note, I got some info posted : UConnect 8.4 - North America

The Above Thread is to bring together the North American 2014 JGC and other related vehicles discussion, rather than me trying to keep up on 20 different threads (selfish me )

Thanks!

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

After getting this 13.19 reflash on my 2014 V6 GC Limited 4x4, my "Climent System" shuts off eveytime I turn off the motor, and even though I checked off the box to turn on my heated steering wheel & seat at start-up, it does not work.

13.19.0 is not the current software, GCL - go to the Uconnect site and download/install 13.38.52. If you become a Premium member here, you can d/l it from the VIP area.
