Due to some issues with complaints filed with Mega we have needed to move the software to our Premium Member section. I have left all of the information below for reference should you need to visit your dealer.

I have labeled this as an Unofficial release simply because I do not act as a representative of the provider of the software. I will as usual also caution you that you should *Use this at your own risk* and if you are more comfortable you may visit your Local Dealer and Reference STAR Case # S1308000211 and your dealer will load the software under warranty.

You must know the option code of your radio in order to get the correct update. The following fixes are in this update and specifically in speaking with a team of Sirius Radio engineers deals with some problems that have been reported in the Grand Cherokee. There has been site visits by Sirius XM to dealers in order to verify the Sirius Radio fixes.

Corrects HD default to "on" at startup
Navigation performance enhancements
Improved radio response times
Corrects battery drain due to failed radio registration
Corrects Voice recognition would not start correctly
Improved HD radio seek
Corrects Driver’s memory function causes SiriusXM failure
Improved SiriusXM Performance
Corrects radio heated seat controls
System stability improvements
Corrects for “please insert USB” at boot mode
Improved user experience at high ambient temperature​
Prevents GPS module failure

Other Fixes:
Corrects loss of vehicle navigation location
Corrects incorrect compass direction
Fixes Lockup and or Shutdown of Touch Screen (RA3/RA4)
Additional behaviour updates directly from customer feedback

*** I have not verified if this has any impact on the Remote Start A/C issues and was told "not likely but not sure" ***

This will be my last post of unreleased software openly to JeepGarage, any future software releases including for other radios etc. will be available to JeepGarage supporters only. If there are Premium Members currently of JeepGarage that are also RAM owners I have posted the 2013 RAM instructions in a Premium Members thread. This is a great community and I personally know that these communities require support. This is my little way of a soft nudge to encourage that.

Unlike the prior release this is universal to either a MAC or PC as it is the RAW file. The instructions will seem very familiar to others who did 13.15.4 but you will see the file is not zipped in this case. Please read and follow the instructions I do not want to answer questions for things listed in the instructions. Please make sure to use a BLANK USB STICK. If you used this stick for the other update MAKE SURE YOU DELETE everything on the stick including the LOG file. I know this update will fit on a smaller memory stick.... DO NOT DO THIS, follow the instructions 1GB is the minimum and there is a reason as there is read/write during the update procedure.

Lastly when you read the instructions you will see that this is a customer authorized update. IF the update fails you can take it to your dealer and please know THIS WILL NOT FIX HARDWARE ISSUES. If there is a hardware issue with your radio this won't fix it and you will still need to have your radio looked at by a CDJ Dealer. I have noted that this fixes Freezing and Restarts of the Touch Screen HOWEVER I also know there were a small number of radios with hardware problems that this update will not fix but if you have these issues it is certainly what the dealer will attempt prior to any radio replacement being ordered.

POST UPGRADE NOTES:

-You may notice in the update process or after the update that "APPS" and or "SETTINGS" are interchangeable. Post update a "Registered" system will revert back to "APPS" once connected for a period of time.
-Shortly after the update is completed on an activated radio it is possible there may be a restart of your system separate from the update as APPS reconnect and or update.
-There appears to be a number of performance updates including to the FOBs detection and association. If you see unusual changes in presets on your radio, check which fob you are using.
-Not all fixes and or upgrades to the software are listed specifically. If you have a concern with a functionality of your radio it may have been addressed but not listed here.

800 mile road trip and so far the replacement radio is working as expected. No phone needs service messages, all boxes remained checked etc... Now if the tire could just fix itself. DOH! Nail in my tire this morning. Can't blame that on the radio. :)

Yelp is there already - If you dont see it - use the VR and say "Launch Yelp"

Pandora, IHeart, Aha, and Slacker - Bing has been removed (Replaced by Yelp)
Thats all so far (officially)

I set it all up and uconnect sees me and accepts my info and vehicle but the app asks for a user name..where the heck is that or how is it created?? I didnt see that when registering.

What music formats are compatible for the SD and USB slots, so far I've only got it to play MP3, would like to use Apple plus and lossless but they don't seem to work. Couldn't find it in the manual. Now that we don't have CD it would be nice to have a lossless format.

Well... I finally made the trip to the dealer for my free oil change. they updated the TCM, but their 'Dealer Connect' system was down so they could not update the radio. According to the 'Service Adviser'..it will be the absolutely, latest update available. I have to go back tomorrow. The dealerhsip (sales, service, etc.) also don't know why I am getting an 'Invalid VIN Entered' message when I check for system updates on Uconnect. The ball was bounced to the dealer by Uconnect and Jeep CS...now it is being bounced back. Anybody know why this message comes up?

So tonight on my way from a fire call, my radio restarted 2 times and the Service Phone light came on... Funny how UConnect called to see if I was still having issues and I said it was all good..

They probably send OTA message to screw you over. Producing flewless software is a quick way for programmer to get unemployed. You always want to have some bugs which you need to fix in future realease.

Happy uconnect customer is a bad customer ;-). Seems like they are doing fantastic job at the moment.

Probably also the reason why they don't want to realese that new version to public. If they do than they are screwed.

If you go to the map update site, they have for sale a few different voice options for garmin GPS. Kit from night rider, yoda, few more. I dont think the software is for our units.

I've been running 13.19 for a few weeks now. Flawless until today. XM seemed to "reset" after I started the vehicle. Not sure what it was doing but the radio stopped and a message popped up that XM was loading (or something like that). Everything seemed to be ok until I realized my seat hadn't moved to it's preset position. I repositioned it and saved it again. Then when I turned the vehicle off, the "easy exit" didn't work. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Yes, exactly the same thing..about 3 weeks after upgrading to 13.19. Siriusxm loading.....lost the seat settings, easy out did not work, looked at some of the settings and they were screwed up (example, the check mark to turn the mirrors down in reverse was checked even though we purposely have NEVER set that option....AND....even though it was checked the mirrors were NOT turning down in reverse).

I re-saved the seat settings but did not mess with the errant settings and the next morning all the settings were back to where they were supposed to be. I hate FM (frigging magic).

During my outback adventure (a.k.a. mall crawling) today got a service shifter message first, otherwise no actual issue, followed by service phone and red light on mirror, which lasted maybe a minute. Lost all my presets again. Assist button still works fine. Wondering if anyone else had similar happen today?
