What member level do I need to have in order to get access to the early release of the updates?

I signed up for Premium Level 1 which cost a whole $5. I spend more at Starbucks for a coffee!

You can become a lifetime member for less than the cost of a good set of floormats. Something I plan on doing at renewal time.

If you sign up for level 3 they can track your jeep if you are planning to order from factory. Much better than the tracking system that Jeep provides.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Have been following this thread..but have not been having any problems...until TONIGHT! I used remote start and it killed the radio. Would not recognize SD card, USB, BT.....so I pulled into a BP.....turned off the car...opened the door...shut it...sat there for 2 minutes...started up the car...and NOTHING. NO RADIO!! Also...like others...the climate was OFF after remote start. Without going thru all the previous messages...is there a quick fix? Or are we waiting for the update? Thanks all and thanks Willx for the good info!

First input. All settings were retained with the exception of surround. Holding my breath but does appear to have fixed my remote start no air issue. Will test again in a bit and again tomorrow. No error messages on screen as of yet. Also have not verified seats. As for easy exit. Working as designed.

Sorry Tom,

Remote start AC is still in the works and coming soon but not directly related to this update...

Understood. Just posting it is now working as designed. Been sitting in the garage all but one day this past week as we have been driving the Wrangler. The only change I have made was the UConnect update. I agree this update didn't say anything about it so must be something in the air.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Another thing I'm pleased with is that if the radio is set to HD channel 2 for a station, that setting is now retained the next time the vehicle is started.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Just upgraded membership. Great forum and excellent support by Willx on the status of the firmware upgrades. Looking forward to the next "stable" pre-public release. This remote start crap is annoying to say the least.

Thanks,
Haze

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

-- Gotten two vehicle needs service 911 messages first for update second for phone (have pic of phone message). After first error, got the "latest" 4 gig update at dealer. No changes. They have since replaced my Uconnect module. No noticeable change. I haven't driven it much since the dealer still has it so I can't confirm Nav fixes. But I can confirm no change to other issues.

any suggestions?

Issues to date will occur with both FOBs:
--Nav/radio randomly reboots (both while driving and while parked) very distracting and a safety issue to have your car “control–alt-delete” while driving along at 70 in traffic
--Nav has completely lost me and put me in the middle of the harbor (have pic). NO this wasn’t as if I was driving on a shoreline road. The pic shows me in the middle of the bay.
--Randomly the check marks disappear. Randomly they reappear. You can watch this happen.
--AC doesn't come on when vehicle is remotely started.
I can confirm that in 93 degree temps my ac didn't cool my car in remote start with it set in auto. Whether it is on in low I can't confirm. I can confirm when shut off vehicle it is in auto at 74, I start in remote after an hour or so, enter car through the driver’s door and it doesn’t feel like it is attempting to cool after about 5 minutes, the seats seem to be blowing on low but I don't feel like the main ac was on (compared to my other vehicle with this feature). I can also confirm that after starting the vehicle the AC controls (and light) are still off. I must push the auto button to get it to turn back on, then it works as one would think it should in auto.

--Radio settings don't change for occupant one or two-- then again sometimes it changes just cause!
--Xm service sometimes takes 30 seconds or more to load.. Even when sitting in a walmart parking lot. Whiles it's loading the reverse camera doesn't activate.
--The collision warning and adaptive cruise randomly say they are active or inactive.. Sometimes they don't do anything.
-- Gotten two vehicle needs service 911 messages first for update second for phone (have pic of phone message)
