Yes Sorry Sudbury, I forgot you have a Verizon phone. There is some problems with their bluetooth. Not sure if 13.19.0 makes that any better... can anyone comment?

I would say get back up your phone/note completely (including putting your pictures/contacts on another machine/usb key for safe keeping). The go get on the xda-developers forum, root your phone/note, and then pull down an AOSP ROM and flash it. Try that out and see if you have the same issues. But that's just me

Stock/factory? What's that about? teehee!

i recently had this update done by the dealer.

After having this completed, my iphone app would no longer work. I deleted and re-downloaded the app and everything worked.

A few days later the remote functions are working but i no longer receive text notifications as I did prior to all of this.

any ideas?

I called the uconnect help line and went through all the trouble shooting and no luck still.

Once your conversation goes beyond 25 in history it stops.

so I've deleted my text chain and I'm still unable to receive the notifications, so I need to do something to "reactivate" the notifications?

All of a sudden, the red light on the mirror turned on. So i pressed the assist button to see what it meant. Says no subscription and to call. So i call. THe lady said i am all set and signed up.
She transfers me to hardware.. they tell me to bring it in. Meanwhile i notice the clock has not updated in 30+ mins?

So, i waited 30mins.. started it back up Clock is working, red light is gone... Assist still says no subscription and doesnt connect.

GPS works, good signals... it can locate me
APPS button has 3G and 3 bars...

They are now creating a ticket for me.

Any one else have this happen?

Well you can't really make a general statement that "Verizon has issues with their Bluetooth" because Verizon (or any carrier) doesn't control that.. Its individual mfgs and their drivers/sw/hardware that determines how well (or not well!) that their products work with other Bluetooth peripherals. Can say the same about the variation among devices as far as battery life, screens, cell reception, emi shielding.. List goes on..

I can say that I have had my VZN GN2 rooted and running the cm10.1 nightly ROMs since I have had my summit and have had 0 problems with Bluetooth pairing, drop outs or disconnects, even on 13.19.0. I do have issues sometimes with streaming BT audio skipping, but I have not tested my phone with another BT audio system to confirm or deny whether it's uconnect related.

Few things to try though.. Try changing CPU governor on your phone to on demand instead of pegasysq that its probably on now. You will need to be rooted to do that though. There have been reports of that helping. Also, make sure you dont have some power saver app/settings shutting down Bluetooth after awhile.. Maybe even try toggling it. If you at remote starting car, make sure you are in it and hit start button to fully cut it on .. BT won't connect til you do that and can take 30 secs or so to discover & connect.

I have had clock get stuck a few times.. And have had the service phone message a few times as well.. But every time, just leaving it alone for a few hours has always cleared it up.

Libby,

This is the Thread about Uconnect updates, so my comment was about with this software. Many people with Verizon on Note 2 and with 13.19.0 have said they have an issue. It is reasonable to say that the Verizon version of the phone running their custom firmware may have an issue working with 13.19.0. Other people with note 2 and other carriers are not having the same issues.

Yeah I'm in the same boat with no subscription and same directions as you. Took it in after asking on here to no avail, dealers solution was to tell me they fixed it with a software update. What that really meant was that they downgraded my software from 13.19 to 13.15.4, which fixed a separate problem as far as being able to send messages, but didn't do anything to fix my uconnect not subscribed problem.

I've gone back and forth with the uconnect people and they are aware of the problem and have apparently sent push updates out to my particular vehicle but so far none of them have worked.

Sucks that we get this "free trial" for a year but nothing actually works correctly and we are yet to have any via mobile apps that they advertised while selling the car. Doubt they will extend the year whenever these apps come out or a stable release of software/hardware actually works.

ok cool. i figured it was a hiccup since it fixed itself.... now any tips on how to get the assist working!? getting a free year of something thats broken kinda defeats the purpose lol

yeah.. and i have a feeling that something on there end isnt "connected" correctly. Let me ask this , maybe Willx will know: When you hit the assist button, what info is sent to them? They could only find my info when i gave them the VIN. Could not find me by name or phone number.

That is just stupid ! I guess the dealer can't read
