Things seem to be working correctly, although I did lose my EQ settings. The nav maps look quite a bit different with how the streets are labeled.
I noticed the same thing when doing the install.

I'm running iPhone 5 with iOS 6 and I've been able to view and have incoming text messages read aloud via my RA4/nav since I picked up my Jeep in February. You can reply to text messages via Siri on the iPhone, however.
I'm on iOS 7 beta. I just picked up my Jeep last week so I have not tried it with iOS 6 but I didn't have text alerts until this update.

This is what I had been seeing all along. The balloons make for easier reading on zoom and rotate.

The zoom defines the number of labeled streets.

So this means we probably won't be able to reply via voice to text messages once final iOS 7 is released - WTG, Apple; thanks for listening to your customers.

Finished my update at noon today - first time through it locked up on the Sierra card update, unit 10 of 12, at 75% complete on the total update; 1% on the unit update. Sat there for several minutes, then I got the "Sierra Bolo file install failed" message. Removed the USB stick per onscreen instructions; waited until it said to reinsert it, then the update started over at unit 1 and went all the way through successfully. When it completed, however, everything simply shut off - ignition went from "Run" to "Off', and everything shut down. I waited several minutes and pushed ignition twice again to "Run", system booted up and then showed me the update screen asking if I wanted to update from 13.19.0 to 13.19.0. Pushed "No", removed USB stick, and turned ignition off - everything seems fine. Very glad to have Bing back; Yelp is pretty much useless to have as a main search engine in a vehicle.

Props to Willx for providing these updates!!

Northland's installation though rocky is exactly what you want. Everyone should end up back at the do you want to install screen and the two numbers should be the same. Answering no here is the proper complete step.

You never know...This is only beta 2 and things could change by the final release.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I had the update performed (2014 overland 8.4AN) by a dealership yesterday and was repairing our phones and messing with the interface when it did the "typical" shutdown and restart our of no where. The system was attempting to connect to satelite because I was in my garage but that shouldnt reset the system.

The phones paired and worked well for basic functions. My phonebook wont transfer all contacts and the text message reply never works. Messages received are displayed but alerts for newly recieved messages do not occur.

Anyone with similar issues or possible rememedies?

Not sure if your system has been registered if it is and it doesn't have at least two bars of signal it may do something similar to that but also check and make sure you do actually have the latest version. Also as part of the update the system if needed will restart itself after rearranging apps.
