No issues with Radios in Production at the moment. As far as I know anything built after mid June should be problem free on the UConnect side.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Very strange thing this morning with NAV and the clock, and of all days I needed the NAV desperately to get me to my destination. Running the 13.9 with almost 4k on my speedo and never once have I had anything go wrong with the headunit. The NAV worked but had no clue how to get me to the destination, I was hoping to get to Needham but the NAV was taking me to Springfield somewhere. Also , the clock was out of sync with the GPS and would not advance, basically stuck at 6:15AM. Shut the car down for a few minutes and same thing, Called Uconnect care (useless) was told to stop at a dealer. Finally did get to my destination (old fashion way)and let the car sit for 2hrs, went out started it up and everything worked fine all the way back to work. Anyone else seeing this ?

OK,

That is 3 too many of a similar experience today... maybe something OTA??? Sorry folks my original assumption may have been incorrect on this issue. Normally I would have said it was your wireless card being goofy but I think this is number 3 today?

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Willx - you aware of any issues on 13.19 and voice detection? I have yet to get an address recognized via voice; not a single one. I have tried the one-line input ("Navigate to 123 Street, Houston, TX") - I've tried to say "Navigate to" and then follow the prompts. Nothing works. It recognizes Texas, but other than that it sucks.

I really should take a video to show it. My wife thinks it is hilarious. Last night on the way to dinner I spent 10 minutes of the drive trying to get it to recognize. The one time it tried to actually determine a route, it tried send us to Rhode Island!

Just for fun, at the end I grabbed by Galaxy S4, said "Navigate to 1816 Westheimer, Houston TX" and it immediately recognized and threw up directions. I don't expect the UConnect to be as good, but it really is impossible for me at this time to do anything while driving via voice.

I am not sure about NAV, but I had exactly same issue with GPS synced clock. Mine was stuck at 11:19AM and the issue solved after I restarted engine. At that moment, my system was loaded with 13.19.0 and it was 2~3 days after I did "factory reset" in the engineering menu. After I see the clock issue, I upload 13.19.0 software again... so far I has been ok with GPS clock, BUT I cannot say for sure that the reloading software is the solution or not. According to Willx's comment, there might be some difference between factory loaded 13.19.0 and reprogrammed 13.19.0. Anyway it is worth to try... reprogram 13.19.0 software on your 13.19.0 system.

Not to be a debby downer BUT is anyone that is reading and following this thread, having upgraded to version .19 NOT having any issues? Does your blue tooth work as it should? No radio resets or clock freezes etc. I am tempted to try but don't want to open the door to more when my only nagging issue is bluetooth not staying paired and having to press the HD button everything. Knock on wood I have not seen any other reported issue.

I will say the man and legend willx is a true warrior and we owe a lot to him.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Within the first couple of days, I was able to get the nav to recognize and take an address by voice. It was also pretty decent with finding artist and song names on media, chanin stations, etc.

Since then (about 2 weeks), the VR seems to have gotten progressively worse to the point where I do not bother trying to seek artists, songs, etc. with it. I suspect the NAV will suck just as much next time I try.

I wonder if the VR is partially OTA or cloud supported, and these other uconnect issues are also causing the VR to fail miserably.

HAHA... damn that's good... please post the video.

Go to NAV screen press VR, Say "Enter Destination"

Read your detination like this.

1 - 2 - 3 Street, Houston Texas (not stringing the numners out but saying one, two, three Street. It will ask you to repeat once without the state for verification then it will plot.

It works pretty good, let me know if this does or does not help?

I upgraded to .19 a few weeks ago and have had no problems. BT works fine and stays paired, no radio resets, no clock freezes, NAV works great, VR works the times I have tried.

Other than immediately after updating my Overland when my lights were on in the daylight and my wipers periodically operated, everything seems to be working fine. I will give the nav a test this weekend when I take the vehicle up to Fort Wayne to visit my daughter. My FM-HD and Sirius have no problems and BT is working great. However, I do not text and have that disabled on my cellular account, so I can't comment on the texting issue.

Scott, Scott, Scott Feature Request!!!

No seriously thanks, I don't make the stuff just try to provide perspective and info. I am not even driving one at the moment but I know some day I will need help. I have worked my entire life under this principle and it is how I got to be successful. You help good people and good people turn around and help back.

Not expecting anything from you guys (I do like beer ) but good karma goes a long ways!
