Sno, I think this will be a radio for you. Some of those modem/wireless card issues are known to not be fixable. On the other hand the rest of the radio should not be affected.

Willx,

I tried to open the the PDF for the grand cherokee intructions in the premium members area, It says the file is damaged. Just a FYI for you, the Ram file opens.

I just opened it on my iPad and I have never worked with that file from this device. I would suggest you try downloading again? I did check that the entire document downloaded successfully (I checked the 8.4 version)

Willx,

Not a big deal for me at this point, since i just wanted to read the PDF, maybe its my old laptop. As long as its working for members who need it thats great. I can open the ram file and the 5.0 file, only the grand cherokee file come back as damaged.

I figured as much but not really concerned about it so much. I will get it fixed sometime but not urgent.

Just a matter of opinion. I will say it's not a very secure thing the way Chrysler has implemented it.

Had mine lock up hard today. Nothing but volume worked. Took a quick video that I will try to post up. Went into the store and it was fixed when I came back out. After a quick trip into the next store, locked again! Shut down and restart didn't fix. Grrrrr. Can't wait to get the new radio! Even vr didn't work.

Can't blame ms. It runs on QNX. Blackberry's new OS base. Lol I think it was because of the card locking up. Had the red light on the mirror too again
