I have the 8.4AN radio. Updated 13.19 .0 And I saw the Red light service phone message once. Assist button to Uconnect told me I am not registered. My memory seat goes forward before it goes back to position. I also have the popular remote start AC problem where it will go off once the driver door is open and stay off until I physically press the button to turn it on.
I want to bring it to the dealer but would like to know if I need a new head unit first so I can avoid 2 to 3 trips.
Is there a star case number I can give the dealer in case they are not aware of it?

Star case# S1308000230 you will most likely still have to make at least 2 trips to the dealer and if your dealers service department is any good they won't need you to give them the star case number. I started to go into the Star Case thing and the service guy was like don't need it we know whats up bring it in lets start the processes of getting it fixed.

My dealership is even better than I thought. They called me back asked me if i could send them the screen shots I have of the message and version of radio software and they might be able to save me a trip. Quick tip if you want to take screen shots of your radio Hold the up and down drivers side temperature buttons and the rear defrost button while having a usb drive plugged in. They also told me if I have to leave my Jeep over night or something they will set me up with a rental I assume they pay for it if so my opinion of Jeep service departments is getting better I'm impressed.

Yes, I've been ok for about a week already. I check it every time I get in the truck. As far as I know, they did not push any updates to my radio. I only reinstalled the apps.

I gave up with Uconnect this morning - called 3 different times with 3 different CSR's, 1st one, nothing we can do but make an appointment with a dealer and we can't access your system over the air, it is against company policy. I told the gentlemen to have his supervisor call me, never heard from him. 2nd one - re-install the apps that will fix your problem, if not call us back, 3rd call - will open a ticket so your dealer can look at it, nothing more we can offer remotely.

I did decide to re-install the apps and like the last time, the assist is working - time will tell on this one. guess I shouldn't really care about this, I always have my cellphone with me and I have found the assist is a useless option.

As noted previously I have no accessed to registered vehicles.... can someone try this please.

Uninstall the App from your phone, reboot your phone (must be fully off reboot). Reload the APP.

Before Connecting Factory Reset the Radio.

I know this is a pain, but is someone is interested, I would like to see what happens. As a note, you very likely will get a "phone service" message if you have seen it before.

No gaurantees just following up a lead.

Sorry to hear all the people you've dealt with at Uconnect are clueless. The first person I talked to knew what was going on, the second didn't, and the third fixed the issue. I got two out of three, must have been my lucky day, should have bought some lottery tickets.

Willx- Funny thing is I never get the Phone service message, all systems run fine with the exception of Uconnect Assist. I can try this tomorrow, likely later in the day and report back.
