How are you able to tell the Assist is not working? Just by pressing the button?

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Monday, my Yelp icon is gone.
Tuesday, Yelp is back, but SXM presets are gone and some settings are changed.
Wednesday, I get in start driving, after about 2 minutes, Uconnect restarts, then for the first time ever, I get phone requires service, and the red light on mirror stays on. After about 5 more minutes the red light goes off and every thing seems back to normal. I am assuming that there are updates being downloaded and this is causing the havoc. It would be nice if they would let you know that your radio is going to be loosing settings and rebooting. It would probably make people more satisfied with the uconnect. As it is, I would guess most people think that the system is just screwed up.

After I finish this cup of coffee it's off to the dealer. They should have more coffee ready, and that's what counts.

i doubt that updates that would cause the system to reboot can be pushed over the air like that. (at least it seems unlikely) - but that phone service error should not ever show. Keep an eye out for that to start showing up more.... my money is on you needing a new radio.

my yelp did that too lol...

Just visited the mopar site that we regestered the UConnect at the dealer from and found under Quick Tips a bunch of video's including how to work with
Assist. At first the video's would not play due to scripting that was blocked by Windows 8/Kaspersky firewall but after allowing script from Mopar site through instructive video's played. Suggest U look there!

Got the oil changed. Then after first telling me the assist feature was working (without actually trying it) they had uConnect do the same fix they did last time.

Coffee was fresh.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

I searched the thread and can't seem to find any comments about an issue I ran into. I downloaed the update today. After plugging in the thumb drive, an authentication error pops up. I don't have the exact wording in front of me but when I get home I'll find it.

With the the little information I provided, has anyone see a similar error?

That error comes up for all of the following,

-wrong iso file (wrong radio identifier)
-other files on the drive
-bad usb key
-tampered iso file (not on purpose but if it was corumpted in downloading the radio sees it as tampered).

Basically just make sure you are on a clean good quality USB key that has nothing else on it and that the ISO was saved there without opening or modifying.

Feel free to post back any further concerns and or more details on your error.
