When I moded my files I used the correct software to make a new ISO and at the same time that software makes a new manifest I haven't tried it without using the QNX software though probably will get to that maybe tomorrow.
If someone wants to start a new thread on moded uconnect software go for it. I'm just not sure this site is the place for that kind of thing? Or I would have shared my moded iso already here.

Thank you very much. I have created and exported SWF files with Adobe Flash CS5...but I don't want to mess this thing up. What are the odds of you modding the ISO and using this background: http://lotzofwallpapers.com/i/black-...-wallpaper.jpg or this one: http://decalpitstop.com/mightyskins/...on%20Fiber.jpg and recompiling it for those of us with 2014 JGC Overlands? I could PayPal you.

Please let me know...or if there is an easy way to do it using FLASH CS5...I am all ears!

Good looking out!

My pleasure glad I could give you a couple tips. Since you got me thinking about this atm I'm going to go ahead and try moding the files without using any of the QNX car platform software. I'll just make a jeep garage theme so when they see the video on YouTube people know who to blame lol. if I can get the CMC/vp4 to except the flash without any problems just by modding a new ISO I'll let you know. If not i don't have a problem changing up the background for you can even change the entire color theme fairly easy if you want. I had to put my radio back to stock because I'm getting a new one sometime next week so I have no problem messing with the one going back to Chrysler. Quick tip just have the original 13.9 iso for backup just incase. There are scripts in the update for protection if something goes wrong but you never know. No need to pay me that be too much like work. you do have the the An model stereo correct?

Thanks.

Yes...I have the 8.4AN radio in a 2014 JGC Overland. The background is dry cracked earth (boring)...so I really like the honeycomb one better out of the two I sent you. If you can get it to work...I would have no problem sending you $10 or so...if that is ok.

Just let me know.

Thanks again. I DO have the original unmodded 13.9.0 iso on a thumb drive just in case I need to put it back on.

Preciate ya!

*edit: I was looking at the files more this am..and can't figure out where the background file is. When I try to open the swf files in FLASH CS5 or FLASH CATALYST...can't do anything. For giggles...I renamed the SRT splash logo and the Jeep logo.....and used winrar to create the iso. (That is ALL I changed) If I try to run it on the vehicle...will it LOCK UP and BRICK the radio?

**edit 2: Better question. If all i did was rename the two jpg files (splash screen) what are the DETAILED instructions to use IMGburn to re-pack the swdl.iso file correctly? TIA!!!

Lemme know. I appreciate the tips.

I went ahead and tried making the iso without the QNX car platform software and got authentication error when installing. I figured that would happen

Yeah...that's why I waited to hear back. I renamed the SRT splash screen JEEP and the JEEP splash screen SRT and created and iso using iMGBurn and they were different sizes. I must have used Joliet or something incorrect.

I REALLY appreciate your help...I am into customizing as much as I can...I just lack the programming knowledge to do it. I am real good with computers, IT, and configuring systems....just don't want to BRICK my in dash radio.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Although my system hasn't frozen up or restarted since 13.19.0, it has been taking longer lately for the navigation to be used, sometimes 30+ seconds after starting the car. Showing me this screen that the navigation is being activated. Occasionally the screen would not respond until I used voice commands to select a different option. Today, it showed the map and then went back to navigation is being activated and it wouldn't go away. The system was somewhat functional, but I couldn't get the message to go away. Even turning the car off, opening the door, waiting for it to go to sleep, didn't fix the issue. I'm sure it will be fine in a couple hours, but it would be nice to have a car where I could rely on the nav system to be functional when needed.

One thing I have also noticed is that often when I start the car, the uconnect button just says settings and then it switches to the uconnect after a few seconds. It seems like this has to happen before the nav becomes activated. I also don't have any of the apps until the uconnect data downloads.

Have you tried reinstalling 13.19.0? Sometimes that will cure glitches.

The only problem I've been having lately is that the voice command button takes about ten minutes after starting the car to work. UConnect said that's a hardware problem, but I don't yet agree. I plan on reinstalling 13.19 this week and reinstalling the apps to see if that resolves it. It worked fine when I first installed 13.19 and then developed slowly later.

I dont know what to do. I had a new radio installed 7/29 and on8/2 i got the phone needs service msg, on 8/3 i list all the radio presets, on8/4 usb no longer works. Also it seems the temperature is about 4 to 6 degrees cooler than what it really is outside. I have version 13.19.0 software on there. Also since new radio installed i hear like a staticky crunchy noise every once in a while. Gotta call dealer today. Do u think a software reload or update and check wiring?
