Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

When I go to the UConnect Update site and enter my VIN, I receive the message that there is no update for my 2014 Jeep GC Limited, 8.4AN. I did the 5/24 update, why can't I get the current one?

I use a MacBook Pro computer, is that a factor?

Also, I noticed that when I remote start the Jeep above 80 degrees outside that the cooled seat turns on but it always turns it on low. Maybe by design but I don't know why it wouldn't be on hi since it doesn't push much air anyways.
They actually Suck air but probably the reason the fan will always blow lower from the A/C too. It is the premium experience factor, seats cooler air cooler but nothing intrusive during the entry process. Think 85 year old and just had her hair done and you will figure out what they were thinking (not that the demographic suites )

I think I mentioned this earlier but possibly in the old thread. UConnect's current site is unable to handle the traffic. They released it through the warranty network only. The current update is provided by JeepGarage contacts solely to the benefit of our members. See post 1.

UConnect is upgrading, no time of completion for that right now.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Well, I just came in from my Jeep, and I was checking the Uconnect Apps. I was looking at the information apps screen. It showed both Bing and Yelp, so I tried both, and they both worked. I went back to the information apps screen, and while I was looking at it, the Bing button disappeared! Too bad, I think Bing showed more information than Yelp does. Guess I'll have to play with it to see if I can find a way to get it to show more.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

Anyone with an iphone 5 and 2014 grand cherokee with the small 5.0 unit tried updating this and now have no problems with pairing issues? I just purchased my cherokee and already have the pairing issues, so want to check with you guys.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

BTW, I guess Uconnect doesn't have any plan to include a capability for multi-language display, more than English/Spanish/French. I have some musics from Japanese and Korean.. but all music tags are broken.

Did you read post one completely?

There was an identified and documented aproblem with the 5 inch unit that caused problems with Bluetooth the update does fix this issue

I had one that didn't do it the first time. I locked the vehicle doors closed and then started over again and it was fine.
Thanks Willx. I tried it your way and still nothing. I also locked the vehicle, let the alarm initialize and then opened the door and proceeded. Looks like the vehicle starts reading the USB, blinks about 5 or 6 times, then nothing happens. Last time when I did the previous update, I did download the update from Uconnect whereas this time I used your link. Maybe that made a difference? I see the only thing on the USB is: swdl file type - ISO with 557,200KB. I even downloaded the update again, formatted the USB and same thing happens.

Yes sir, I just wanted to see if there any personal confirmations out there. So should be good to go. Thanks a lot for your help!

Totally correct I can only recommend trying a different USB stick?

Probably a good idea to set the maximum stored text messages on your phone to ~50 per conversation.

I was thinking of doing that. So I have a new USB, I imagine I should format it before putting the update on it?
