So i have appointment with desler for the "vehicle phone requires service" message. Now it comes up almost daily and it is freaking annoying.

If they are not replacing radios anymore what are they going to say? Keep driving and get annoyed on you 50k vehicle?

If it comes up all of the time, they should call Chrysler and get a replacement... They are still replacing radios, they are just unsure of the radio requires service root cause. As in be prepared that you may get a replacement and see that message once in a blue moon, as there still appears to be some other issue going on. It coming up during normal operation is the Sierra Card actually failing... TMK.

The 911 phone service message can still appear, but isnt necessarily bad.
Its when the radio blanks out, freezes, forgets presets, etc while running 13.19.0 that is the real issue. correct?

So, tomorrow - should i double check the radio serial (date) before they install? My guess is it HAS to be newer than the one i have (since i was running 13.05 lol)
The 911 phone service message is still bad, Chrysler has just decided that they are unsure of one of the issues related to the Service 911 message and are investigating further. I would imagine there will be more information on this soon.

you can most likely just get the radio SN from dealer Menu mine match if you want to figure out the date of new radio.

A lot of dots?? but I see a blue one
My dealership did screw up my dash when they replaced my radio. They chipped the wood next to the start button when prying the trim off to get the radio out. I was pissed and let my service advisor have it pretty good. I couldn't believe that someone did that and then was willing to give my GC back to me after damaging it. I wound up talking to Chrysler customer care and got a 3 year oil change package because of this and other issues I have had.

Disappointed, no reason for that, it is really a simple unit to get at.

Re: UConnect 13.19.0 - Unofficial

There is a little nick in the CF trim on mine in the same place. Funny thing is, that happened at the factory as the radio has never been out since it was delivered.

In any case, I'm still waiting for a replacement piece

There was no way in hell I was going to let them leave it like that. I actually didn't even notice it until the next day because when sitting in the drivers seat it was hidden behind the steering wheel. I noticed it when I was leaving work and drove right over to the dealership to give them a piece of my mind and have them order the piece to fix it. It is all fixed now just frustrating that it happened to begin with. I was impressed with Chrysler customer care as they followed up with the dealership to make sure the part was ordered and then followed up again with me to make sure everything was Ok with te repair. The 3 year oil change service package was offered to me from Chrysler to try and smooth things over.

Yeah, I'm sure it was some dumba$$ mechanic who wasn't paying attention and obviously didn't give a $h*! either to pass it back to the customer that way.

Ok cool , I ask because I have already been contacted by my dealer stating they ordered me a new radio after I contacted Chrysler cust serv yesterday for the "service" warning on my radio.

I got my GC in April.

I am going to sit in the GC with the service manager and ask him to look at my interior and notice there are no scratches no bumps, no dirt no nothing and if it comes out any other way when they are done...

That's weird that they chipped the wood all you have to do is open the cubby and and carefully pull from the bottom. They must have done that putting back in I would think. I guess you could always remove that piece yourself and put it back after their done if your that worried
