UConnect 13.38.52

Went to the UConnect update site this morning just for kicks. Downloaded and installed this just now. Haven't played with it, but at first glance, what I noticed is the blue "3G" indicator next to the "Apps" icon. Plus, the media source icons have changed also.

.....still cannot use "shuffle" mode within a folder on an SD card, though. Bummer. Playlists still work fine for this purpose.

Re: UConnect 13.38.52

I went and tried to view the instructions from the instructions button and it does nothing? Strange. I guess I'll make an appt to get mine updated. Thanks for letting us know.

You might try a different browser. Buttons didn't function in Chrome, but I switched to Safari and it downloaded without a hitch.

I did the download from Uconnect earlier this morning. The instructions (as well as a comment from Uconnect support staff) suggest that the DL manager on the Uconnect site will unzip and place the ISO file on your inserted USB drive; not so. It leaves the zipped file on the drive and you need to unzip it and delete the zip file after confirming that the ISO is on the drive. Only then will the head unit find the update.

Or, as Scott said, bag the Uconnect site DL process and use the Premium files.

Re: UConnect 13.38.52

I could not get the downloaded file from uConnect to unzip for some reason. Once Willx posted his I got it done and installed in no time.

And my Jeep still runs.

Hence why we run the premium section with the extra help and links... Bill is a recent Graduate of UConnect-U

The UConnect site is NOT straight forward and works very differently based on location, time of day and browser used. This is the reason why we offer this simplified service to the premium members
