Re: uConnect 15.26.1 is buggy; I want to downgrade.

Hi all

I try to access my dodge charger Uconnect.
I read and read again all information in this thread but I still have some newbee's question.
How can I check that my iso files are patchable?
I have 2 the most recent one and a older one in both two the manifest is clear but in both 2 the .lua in scripts/update/installer are not in texte.
Are they too recent?

You guys should have a separate thread for this patching stuff. The Subject is a bit off. Or ask Mod's to rename the thread.

Speaking as the OP, this thread is about both topics now. More so about patching and modding at this point, given the rollback-worthy issues were mostly identified in the first 10 pages (many of us did indeed rollback).

I welcome the ongoing discussion in this thread about the modding process & individual discoveries.

Anyone tried/succesfully activated the "Cargo Cam" by modifying some of the SWF files?

Digging around in the MainSupplement.swf I can see theres a number of checks for:
"mCargoCameraPresent" which also associates with the vehcfg/CANbus "CHMCM_Present"

Would be good to get this, and then just need to buy a Cable harness with the OEM cargo cam video input/wiring and then hook it up to a video unit of some kind.

I never said anything negative of the value of what's in the thread.

Quite the opposite !! If you asked it to be renamed correctly more folks might join in, including myself.

If it's both topics then label it as both topics.

Sorry if that seems such a reach for you.
