UCONNECT 16.09.09 Update Issues
While I was updating the UCONNECT software in my Grand Cherokee last night, the process was interrupted at 98% due to the vehicle going to sleep. I followed the directions as stated and it specifically stated to make sure the vehicle was in the "run" position, but not actually running. Well, since the update was interrupted, the UCONNECT screen is now completely non-functional (blank black screen).. I've tried 2 soft resets with Jeep & UCONNECT Customer Service and neither have resolved the issue. I know I'm going to have to bring it into the dealer for a solution, but in the mean time, is there something that can be done to at least get it all up and running? Since the interruption, I'm also getting a "service shifter" message on the instrument cluster when the vehicle is first started and it's also displayed "auto engine off/on feature currently unavailable. Apparently, I should've performed the update with the engine running, but unfortunately the instructions are contradicting and state to not have the vehicle running.
