I'm a new member and first I would like to thank everyone who posted fixes for the UConnect issues. I researched for hours on here and found a lot of useful information but just need some help clarifying a few things.
Anyways, I just purchased a 2011 Jeep GC Laredo X. I have the 430 UConnect RBZ w/ connectivity package (Bluetooth, etc) and like everyone else I am having issues streaming/connecting via the center console USB with my iPhone 5. And of course when I put in the last 8 of my VIN on Jeep's site, it says "no updates available" but that's not what I've seen from here and I've never been one to trust them anyways! Also, my Jeep was built in late 2010 and I read in one of the threads that updating the radio may screw it up because it is one of the earlier models.
Basically, I would like to:
1) Be able to stream from the iPhone without hearing it sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks
2) Be able to connect via center console without the system telling me it can't after 5 minutes of trying
3) Have the new color scheme that came with the most recent (50.xxx.xx) update
4) Most importantly, not ruin the radio! It is not under warranty.
Please be blunt with me and let me know if I will not be able to make these updates as I would rather have a working radio in the condition is is now than have no radio since there is no way the hubby will let me pay $1,000 for a new one if I break a functioning one
Basically, if updating my system is possible, I would be so very appreciative if someone could please just post the order in which the updates need to be installed for my system. From what I read there is an order to installing the BT update and radio update, and because my radio is so out of date I may need to update it incrementally (and if you could please include the links to the update files, that would be awesome) (USB preferably)

Any help would be truly appreciated! Thank you!
