Hi All, I'm going to be picking up a 2014 Overland later this year and was wondering if the Uconnect is able to pair with multiple phones. I have a work phone and a personal phone and being able to stream/take calls from both would be great. Is this at all possible?
One thing it can do that most systems cannot, you can have 2 phones connected, one preference for calls and the other one streaming the audio to the radio at the same time.
Thanks, that was going to be my next question. From reading on the forum, it seems like the Uconnect isn't everyone's favorite, so I'm happy to hear that it does have some nice features regarding handling multiple phones.
Glad to hear! Hope 2015 is a very good year for you! Now a question for you - will the '14s be receiving the new & improved Uconnect features (e.g.; sending destination from mobile phone to unit in vehicle)?

2 phones can be connected. In the phone setup screen you can flip between the tabs of audio and phone and choose which the current preferred device is for both phone and music source. You cannot use 2 phones simultaneously but I do switch between the active phone for calls between my wife and I while driving.
Wait are you looking to receive and make calls from 2 phones i dont think your able to do that.. I get in my car with my wife and its pretty much which ever phone it picks up first.. Ive made calls off her phone using my favorite contacts off my settings if that makes sense to you.. And when a call came in it went straight to my handset.. Unless im missing something to use them both that im unaware of please someone chime in.. Im interested in having 2 phones connected as well

I have two phones as well (work and personal), and this was one of my favorite features of BMW's iDrive. One phone is the primary (make/receive calls, listen to streaming). Another is the secondary. Both are paired simultaneously and either can receive calls while connected. If you dial out via the car or want to listen to music it uses the primary. But if you decide to dial out via the secondary it switches that over to BT for audio. It was awesome. All this was in addition to memorizing up to 10 phones for pairing. I've yet to find another manufacturer that does so, which is surprising considering how many people are required to carry two phones now.
