I tend to set a destination much more than I need to, though I always have the voice prompts off. Sometimes you learn a new route, but the main point is to be steered around chaos where possible.

Steve,

Can you confirm that the nav system has rerouted you around traffic? My understanding is that SUNA is the traffic data supplier for Australia.
That although our Jeeps can "see" the traffic data on the FM radio stations, as yet, Jeep Australia has not paid the licensing fee for the service. This means the traffic info is encrypted and unreadable by our systems.

In Sydney, where there is ALWAYS traffic, I have never seen a traffic incident listed.

The SUNA site lists all makes which are currently compatible:

SUNA Compatible Devices | Suna Traffic

I, for one, would love to have access to traffic data. Has anyone else had any traffic info displayed?

Thanks,

Daz

Re: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

I'll try to grab a screen image of what I've seen previously Daz, though it might take a while as I don't drive so often.

I should have commented that it would "appear" that the route had been changed due to an incident, but it's a little hard to be definite as I don't drive between particular destinations frequently. I also have the "luxury" of being able to avoid driving in peak hour. So my ability to collect solid data is not real flash.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

I've just updated mine from 13.43.7 to 14.25.5
All went well but initially couldn't get the Akamai Net Session to download properly. so I downloaded the RJ3_14_25_5 file directly. Then unpacked it and installed.
No apparent changes and I still have the option to turn Gridlines on/off ready for my camera upgrade in the morning.

We have a local radio stn broacasting on 1611AM 6MX - Gold MX 1611 AM Albany, WA - Listen Online
When I first got my GC in November last year I was able to tune it in ok.

About 4 months ago It stopped working, when you selected the stn from the bar it wouldn't play.

Yesterday I asked my dealer about it whilst picking up the GC from the ORC recall.
They couldn't tune it either. It's like the system has lost the ability to connect to alternative frequencies. In fact there's no settings in AM like there is in FM to do this, should there be?

I now believe it dropped out after one of the first recalls I had done, as I remember my service guy (who's currently on leave) saying recently they had done an update to (13.43.7) previously to the current 14.25.5 Uconnect version I have.

As mentioned FM has settings to allow alternative frequencies & regional stations. But there's non for AM radio.
When I try to manual tune in the station I get to 16 and the other digits grey out.

Has anyone else had this issue?
