Can you also request a morph button that changes a CRD to SRT for when the husbands drive the wifes car.

No it was a comment in Jest... However one of the N/A EcoDiesel buyers already has the pro with Boost on order, so we will see his reviews.

I have mostly read about you guys down under using them with good reviews!

Hi all,
After approx 3 weeks i have found that this release is less stable than the last... I am still experiencing the above but also issues I hadn't seen before - radio presets randomly disappearing, screen resetting, on occasion the external temp sensor has a mind of its own and the clincher the AC blowing hot air regardless of setting.

Is anyone finding the same? Any ideas on how to fix? Downgrade perhaps?

I believe that HVAC will be separate to Uconnect.

Re: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

Ive noticed on the climate control side that the unit does not remember the last setting...when I start the Jeep the temperature seems to give me a different temp...say I previously set 23...next time it will be 21.

HVAC problem is a separate module not directly related to UConnect. There are TSBs for Heat and Balance of the Controls for OZ

Try setting your 21 Degrees then saving the driver settings. This should recall this as the preferred temperature set if you have a memory seat option.

Re: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

I have not experienced either of the issues that Sovereign or Jjohan are having. I find the upgrade to be very stable and a lot faster with regards to loading the SD card, song title displays, phone is quicker to pair including messaging which was previously hit and miss. Functionality in that regard is now 100%, including child's iPad pairing.

- Temperature remains as last set, (always 21 in our vehicle both sides - synched)

- I have never lost the radio presets (I did read elsewhere on the forum that some one else was losing presets so that is happening but not to me).

- external temperature always displays correctly thus far. On occasion, initially the temp will display '--' but within a few minutes it displays the correct outside temperature, but I am used to that with '07 JGC. It also needed occasionally a couple of minutes to report correctly. I do not see this as an issue at all.

I have had the climate control TSB applied (about 6/7 weeks ago) and have upgraded to the latest Uconnect version 13.39.51 about 4 weeks ago).

UConnect for us, is operating pretty much perfect (aside from the VR Nav of course but that is a known).
