Do you know what was changed and can I replace/update that part on my Jeep?

Look at this thread

CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

Not sure if this would help with Auto Entry/Exit as well though.

My understanding is that the vehicle will lower automatically when placed in Park. It also lowers the rear of the vehicle so for example, my old boy Springer Spaniel, can get in and out more easily.

It's surprising what a difference it does make. Showed my wife how to lower it and she loves it. At the end of the day you just need to think ahead and push the button down as you approach the stop.

Only be careful if you have mud flaps when you drive off over a speed hump, they may scrape.

Its not that low that mud flaps will scrape... not any around here anyways.

I do have the feature on mine and it is nice that it will continue to lower after you have closed the vehicle and leave. However it still takes the same amount of time so I do find I often tap the down button while preparing to park so that it is all the way down by the time I do want to get out.

Re: The disappearing radio presets and also the 'horn sound upon locking' option being missing - here is a TSB for that and other stuff.

Our dealer is applying this today to our Overland together with the recall N58 one.

Re: UConnect 8.4 International / Export

Follow-up from TSB RT 13-071 radio flash being applied today.

Firstly, the 'Sound Horn upon Lock' option still does not appear as an option even though it was mentioned as fixed via the TSB - don't particularly care, however, I have lost my Messaging option (it is greyed out) when the phone is paired.

Not happy - it was all fine prior to the application. I have done the following:

Deleted the device on the Uconnect screen.

Deleted the Blue Tooth Uconnect through the phone itself.

Basically, took everything back to nothing and then allowed it to find and establish a connection again. It did that fine, downloaded the phone book no problem but still the messaging is still presenting as greyed out.

Cranky I tell you.

Will, before I raise this with the dealership, is there anything else I could try to get that messaging option back?

Oh, just adding - I had the ignition turned on and the engine running when I did this.

Well dealer agrees that 13.59.1 should have fixed my issues so a new head unit will be approved. I guessed that the software was not able to store data in the hardware/firmware, therefore hardware issue. Will take 3-4 weeks to obtain but only 1 hr install.

Dealer confirmed rv camera harness is one piece from camera to under steering column. Makes it hard to replace camera.

When I first get in the car with my Galaxy S3 it initially doesn't show call history or messaging. I then turn off and turn on the bluetooth on my phone then it works.
I have to do a similar thing in a Ford Territory. Still a pain though.

Yes, I understand where you are coming from Bigskiddy and that used to be how I would deal with it prior to the latest upgrade.

Since the application of 13.39.51 (some 4/5 odd weeks ago), I have never needed to do that.

Today, after application, it appeared to revert back to that slowness, (or so I thought) but I sat in the vehicle for a good half hour (twice actually - just to be fair to it and to make sure - gave it a 15 minute break each time) and it still presents as greyed out.

I'm wondering if a piece of the TSB code has actually overwritten the part of the upgrade of V13.39.51 code that corrected the instability of the messaging side of the system.

Just a guess but it does seem that way. I'll run with it for a few days to see if things correct themselves and maybe, Willx can give some insight as well. Dunno.

It's a bit of a bugger because things were running so sweet.
